We can complete the SEO audit and organic search engine optimization in about two weeks. We will create/optimize local citations in the month following the optimization of your website. The creation and optimization of citations can take up to one month or more. Because we collaborate with you and your input is needed in each step of the process, your responsiveness may impact that timeline. After the optimization of your website, it takes anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks before you’ll begin to see better search engine ranking. We will send you a search ranking report once per month after your website optimization has been completed. As local search lists tend to be updated more slowly, changes are expected to continue for up to three months or more.

We begin by sending you a link to an SEO form for you to fully complete and submit. Please note that we need all of this information to perform your service. Next, we will perform an SEO audit to evaluate the status of your website’s technical optimization, your church’s local ranking status, and complete a competitive analysis. Then, we will schedule a call with you to go over the SEO audit and determine the descriptive words/phrases and cities your church would like to target. After that, we will create an optimize plan for your site which targets your church’s city and the two additional adjacent cities you chose as well as your church’s denomination (if applicable) and the descriptive words/phrases you chose. We will combine these cities and descriptive phrases to create keywords. For example, if you chose Clearwater, FL as a city and family church as a descriptive phrase, one of the keywords we would optimize your website for is “family church in Clearwater, FL”. We will send this optimization plan to you to review and approve. Once we have received your approval, we will implement the optimization on your church’s website. Near the beginning of the following month, you will receive your first monthly SEO report.
The following month we will create and or optimize citations in the Google Business Profile, Bing Places for Business, Yahoo local, Yelp, and Apple as well as up to 5 church directory sites. Note that not all churches qualify for all church directory sites. About two weeks later, once the citations have had time to be processed, we may contact you to complete phone or mail verifications.
Upon request, we can also provide links to each of the citations which allow for reviews. We highly recommend contacting a few church members each month and asking them to post reviews on your citations. Reviews can not only improve rankings, but also make people more likely to visit your church.
Each month after the setup has been completed you will receive an SEO Report which will include a search ranking report. After three months we guarantee that your church website will have at least 20 top ten rankings for the various local keyword phrases. We will measure the search rankings in Google desktop, Google mobile, Google Local, and Google Local Packs as well as Bing Desktop, Bing Mobile, and Bing Local. If your website does not rank in the top 10 for at least 20 of those rankings we will refund your entire payment.
If your website is built with OurChurch.Com’s WP-EZ web builder or is custom built by OurChurch.Com, we will make the optimization changes directly to your web pages for you, so you don’t have to do anything. If your website is not built with OurChurch.Com’s WP-EZ web builder, we can still make the changes to your website for you. In order to do that we will require the login information and any additional information needed to modify your website.
Search engine optimization involves modifying the pages of your church’s website to optimize it for the search engines. This includes both on page (visible to visitors) changes and changes to the tags and code of your website. Some of the text on the page will need to be altered and you may need to add to or remove some of the textual content of the page. We work with you to get the best optimization for your website the way you want it, however, refusing any element of the optimization of the page will void the guarantee. During the optimization service, there is one point at which you, the client, will be asked to approve the proposed optimization plan for your church’s website. When we present the proposal, you will have the opportunity to ask questions or request changes. We ask that you do this within two weeks. To get your site optimized and keep it optimized as much as possible, if we have not received a response to a proposal within 2 weeks, we will consider it approved and make the changes to your website. After the proposal has been approved or two weeks have passed without a response, if you wish to change the optimization of the site, you will be required to purchase maintenance hours for the additional work.
Having ads on your website and not having your own domain name will hurt your rankings in search engines. While we can usually still get your site top rankings, we cannot extend the money-back guarantee if you have ads on your web page or do not have your own domain name.
During the initial optimization of the web page, OurChurch.Com will indicate what modifications need to be done in order to fully optimize the web page for the keywords selected. While we highly recommend implementing all modifications in order to receive the greatest benefit from the optimization service, you may choose to not implement all of the recommended modifications or only partially optimize the page. If you choose not to implement all recommended modifications, the guarantee is void. You are free to update and edit your church’s website at any time; however, if you do change the pages at any time and change or remove any optimized elements during the three-month period between when we optimize your site and we run the search ranking report for the third month, the guarantee is void. If the page is offline (your site goes down) for any period of time, the guarantee is void.
The Top Church Search Ranking service was tested with churches in the United States. While the service may be just as effective with churches in other countries, we cannot guarantee the results as the search engines. Also, not all citation sites support locations outside of the US. If your church is located outside the United States, we can provide part of the Top Church Search Ranking service, but not the whole service. If your church is located outside the United States the guarantee is void.
Reviews posted on the citation websites play an integral role in the rankings the church’s website will have in the local search results. During the monthly subscription after the first three months, if the rankings of the church’s website begin to drop, OurChurch.Com will determine what needs to be done to bring the rankings back up. If OurChurch.Com determines modifications to the on-page SEO needs to be made, OurChurch.Com make these changes if they are only in the code. If the changes are visible on your site, OurChurch.Com will send you a proposal of the plan for the changes to your optimization. You can approve this plan or request changes.We ask that you do this within two weeks. To get your site optimized and keep it optimized as much as possible, if we have not received a response to a proposal within 2 weeks, we will consider it approved and make the changes to your website. After the proposal has been approved or two weeks have passed without a response, if you wish to change the optimization of the site, you will be required to purchase maintenance hours for the additional work.
If OurChurch.Com determines additional reviews need to be posted, OurChurch.Com will send an email to the client indicating that reviews need to be posted by members of the church and will indicate the minimum number of reviews which need to be posted. The client church will be required to post the recommended number of reviews within the recommended amount of time. If the recommendations are not followed, the guarantee will be void.
Once the third month is completed you are welcome to make changes to any part of the optimized pages. We have software that monitors the optimized portions of your website daily to see if you have made any changes to it. If you have made any minor changes which affect any of the optimized elements, we will make modifications to the pages as necessary to maintain the optimization of the page. If these changes are visible on a page, we will notify you of our recommended change(s) and request your approval unless you have previously given us permission to make changes to your site without approval. We ask that you review and approve the plan within two weeks. To get your site optimized and keep it optimized as much as possible, if we have not received a response to a proposal within 2 weeks, we will consider it approved and make the changes to your website. After the proposal has been approved or two weeks have passed without a response, if you wish to change the optimization of the site, you will be required to purchase maintenance hours for the additional work. OurChurch.Com retains the right to define minor changes. If more than minor changes have been made to the page, the client will be required to order the Web Page Re-Optimization service in order to maintain the optimization of the page. Failure to do so will void the guarantee.
OurChurch.Com will produce a report of the website’s major search engine rankings. As with the initial guarantee, we will run a search engine ranking report to see where your site ranks in each of the search engines mentioned previously for the local keywords.
Many clients may find that after the first month or two their site has far more than the guaranteed twenty top 10 rankings. While we will strive to maintain those rankings, the guarantee is only for twenty top 10 rankings. If the website’s rankings decrease, but are still at or above twenty top 10 rankings, then the guarantee has still been met.
The Top Church Search Rankings service continues to offer the guarantee of twenty top 10 rankings every month after the one-year commitment for as long as you continue the service. If OurChurch.Com does not meet the guaranteed twenty top 10 rankings during any month after the one-year commitment, the client may choose to keep the Top Church Search Rankings service, giving OurChurch.Com the opportunity to improve the client’s search rankings in order to get into compliance with the Terms and Conditions. The client also has the option to request a refund for the previous month’s subscription fee. If the client chooses to request a refund, the client is only eligible for a refund for the previous month’s subscription fee. The refund must be requested within seven business days of the renewal date. If the client chooses to request a refund, OurChurch.Com reserves the right to terminate the monthly subscription service at that time, which would result in a termination of all Top Church Search Rankings services.
OurChurch.Com will also provide modifications to the optimization of the church’s website as necessary to keep the optimization up to date with the latest trends and strategies. We retain the right to determine what those new trends are and whether changes to the page are required.
OurChurch.Com requires a 1-year contract with our Top Church Search Rankings services. In this 1-year contract, you (the client) agree to continue to the Top Church Search Rankings service for at least 1 year (12 monthly payments). If the service is canceled by the client before the completion of the 1 year, the customer will be charged an early cancellation fee of $200 plus the amount equal to half the cost of the remaining months. (For example, if you cancel your Top Church Search Rankings service ($199/month) 6 months early, then half of the cost of the remaining months would be $597) Other processing fees may apply as well. If the contract is broken by non-payment, the customer is required to pay the amount owed for unpaid months. The customer may be given the opportunity to resume their service at that time at the discretion of OurChurch.Com, or the non-payment may be treated as an early cancellation with all early cancellation fees applicable.
Once the 12-month commitment is completed, the client can continue their service on a month to month basis. The client can cancel the service by writing to us at 1906 Firefern Ct., Suite 107, Trinity, FL 34655 or emailing us at support@ourchurch.com and requesting the service be canceled. Once you have received a notification from OCC indicating that we have canceled the service we will no longer be charged and the service will no longer be performed.
If you choose to purchase the Top Church Search Rankings services, payments for the monthly management service will begin immediately with the purchase of the service and will continue each subsequent month on the renewal date as described above. Typically, the initial optimization takes 2-3 weeks with two months after given for the search engines to adjust the rankings; however, during the initial optimization process there are several points (as indicated above) where we require a response from you, the client. If delays in receiving a response from you cause the initial optimization to take longer, the monthly payments will still continue each month after the Top Church Search Ranking payment was received, regardless of whether the optimization has been completed.
All search engine optimization services provided by OurChurch.Com are intended to improve the search engine rankings of the optimized website. OurChurch.Com is only responsible for improving the search engine rankings within the Guarantee (when applicable). The improvement in the search engine rankings typically will increase the traffic to the optimized website and the increase in traffic may also increase the sales or conversions on the website. However, there are many factors outside the scope of OurChurch.Com’s search engine optimization services which contribute to both increased traffic and increased conversions. Therefore, OurChurch.Com is not responsible for either an increase in traffic or conversions.
