[updated September 1, 2020]

The COVID-19 / coronavirus pandemic continues to impact all of us.  It’s also impacting your church, school, ministry or businesses and the people you serve.

Communicating Encouragement, Help, and Changes

As a Christian leader, it’s important for you to encourage people by pointing them to Jesus and the faith, hope and love we have because of Him.

While most places in the US are starting to reopen, many people are still struggling. Some people are understandably hesitant to go to the store or out in public. Some are lonely or anxious. Some dealing with the death of a loved one, unable to grieve in person with family and friends.

In these trying times, we have the opportunity to love and serve others.  But only if we are able to communicate with them that we are available to help.

As your organization adjusts is plans whether it’s cancelling events, delivering meals, or restarting in-person services, it is important to communicate to the people you serve on your website, on social email, and via email.

We’re Here to Help You Respond

We have been praying, planning and taking action to help you and your organization respond during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Here are some resources we’ve created for you:

Live Streaming

While most organizations that want to live stream have already setup their live streaming, if you are still looking for live streaming options check out the Live Streaming FAQs here and Free Live Streaming Options You Can Use now.

Embedding Video in Your Website

If you live stream or if you record video to YouTube or another video platform, you can embed those videos in your website using these instructions: WP-EZ 2.0 How to Embed HTML Code or  WP-EZ 1.0 How to Embed HTML Code.

Adding Sermon Audio & Video to Your Website

If you want to upload recorded audio or video files to your website. You can find help with that here: WP-EZ 2.0 How to Add Video or WP-EZ Website Builder: How to Add Audio or Video.  To add a video from YouTube see this help page.

Online Giving

The closing of churches and other nonprofit ministries has made it more difficult for people to donate.  This is where the online giving service that we provide called YODA is very helpful.  People can make a tithe or donation safely from their home using either their credit card or checking account.  See our Online Giving Frequently Asked Questions here.

However, if you prefer, you can use any online giving platform (PayPal, E-giving, etc.) with your OurChurch.Com website. Your service provider will give you HTML code to embed into your website.  For help with embedding HTML code into your website, see the links provided above.

We’re Here for You

Finally, OurChurch.Com staff are equipped to work from home, so there will be no interruption in support or service. Our staff is available to answer any questions you may have or help you add and setup any new services. We are putting in extra hours and adding support during the weekend to make sure your questions get answered and your services get setup as quickly as possible.

If you have questions or need help with anything, reply to this email, call us at 727-723-2454, or go to OurChurch.Com and start a live chat.

Remember, we are in this together, and the Lord is in it with us!
