It's hard to say who my favorite singer was as a kid . . . once I began buying my own music I bought all the John Mellancamp cassettes I could. Now, thought, I'd say my favorite singer is probably Karin Bergquist of Over the Rhine.

My Twitter account is @stratlearner.
Favorite singer from Then: Andy Williams, the King of Kool
Favorite singer from Now: Allison Krause, for a really distinctive voice and down home soul.
As a kid, I managed to collect all of John Denver's albums. Now my tastes have broadened. But I'd have to say that I find Josh Groban's voice so beautiful it is intoxicating.

I wasn't a kid, but while in high school I liked to listen to John Denver…sped up. I don't know why. We just tried it once and it was awesome. It was like listening to the chipmunks version.
It is possible to speak to the banks straight to stay unchanged by simply this kind of aspects.

Being a 90's baby, I was into the pop craze during my time. Because of that I would have to say Backstreet Boys was my favorite. Currently I listen to all kinds of music but I would say Usher is my favorite, especially his older songs.

It's amazing how much the way we listen to music has changed since I was a kid 25 years ago. We listened to cassette tapes, records, and the radio. Before that was 8-track (was anything before that?). I still listen to the radio (in the car on occasion), but now CDs and MP3s have nearly replaced the others. I say nearly because I know there are many people who still insist that records are higher quality, and I actually saw a cassette player/recorder for sale in a circular yesterday (for $100!!!).
