More and more pastors these days are referencing their notes on an iPad while preaching. While it’s convenient (and has a bit of a cool factor), it’s not without its potential pitfalls.
Based on his post on Pastors.com, it sounds like Pastor Brandon Hilgemann has had his fair share of iPad blunders. He shares his tips on how to avoid the biggest ones in a very useful post titled The 10 Commandants of iPad Preaching
Some of my favorites include:
2) Thou shall turn off auto-lock
4) Thou shall not draw attention to your iPad
7) Thou shall make sure the iPad is fully charged
8) Thou shall have a backup.
You can find all 10 plus a broader explanation of the importance of each at The 10 Commandants of iPad Preaching.
Do you use an iPad when preaching (or teaching or presenting)? If so, what tips do you have for other iPad users?
