In last week’s poll we asked people:
What is the biggest hurdle facing online churches today?
The results were a little surprising to me:
- 33% Discipleship
- 22% Worship
- 22% Serving one another
- 22% Genuine community
- 0% Sacraments
- 0% Other
I wouldn’t have expected discipleship to get the most votes. But the timing is good because later today we’ll continue our series on online church with a post about discipleship, so check back a little later for that.
What do you think about these poll results?
This week’s poll question is:
Are you sending fewer Christmas cards this year because you stay connected with people throughout the year with social networking sites like Facebook?
Post your vote over in the right sidebar.

I do send less Christmas cards. I don't do much on social networking sites but but I send more cards via email or ecards.
Hadn't even thought to ask that, but I get quite a few eCards and email Christmas letters too.
We just started using social networking sites, not sure what impact it will make yet.
