Spotlight: From “Wanting Something Better” to “Blown Away!”

Spotlight: From “Wanting Something Better” to “Blown Away!”

Do you want more for your church, school, ministry or business?

If so, we want you to know it’s possible. Just read the story one of our clients, Lorraine Edwards, sent us…

My organization is A Single Mission, a ministry created to help single women of faith appreciate and embrace their relationship status by holding the tension between contentment and desire, learning and walking in their God-given purpose, and appropriate preparing for the partner they desire from God.

I am a solopreneur walking out my own purpose from God by speaking, workshops, blogs, and retreats. Though initially created to target single women, God has expanded the ministry to serve married women and even couples as well.

I knew I wanted something better

When I came to OurChurch.com, I had a DIY website that was not horrible. I had grown from its initial inception and had played around and learned enough to put something halfway decent into the online world. However, at the point I decided to call OCC, I knew I wanted something better and I was tired of having to worry about the technology as well as all the services and admin responsibilities.

OurChurch.Com did three things for me:

    1. Got me organized.

Because they were organized and had a structure, deadlines, and requirements for me, it helped me to organize what I wanted to say to the world that landed on my website.

    1. Provided Clarity.

I had to be clear, concise, and timely with my content so they could do their job and meet the deadline they gave for completing my website. Clarity for them forced me to get clear on what I would be offering, how much, and in what format. For any business to be successful, clarity is #1 and they helped me with that.

    1. Took the load off my shoulders.

Mark helped me actually understand websites and what the different parts were and how they played a role in the customer experience. I didn’t have to try to figure things out as I had been doing on my own for almost 3 years. He answered every question that I had and he helped me make the decisions I was not sure how to make to get the best outcome.

    Blown away!

Everyone who saw my first website and then the new one OCC did, were blown away. They love it and I loved it then and still love it now. I just had a friend see it for the first time and he said it was beautiful. Mark and the team gave me enough information to make changes myself, but they are always supportive if I need additional assistance.

In fact, I loved working with them so much, I recommended Mark and OurChurch.com to my best friend and they created one for her as well.

Working with OurChurch.Com has demonstrated that you can be a Christian company with integrity and be excellent in your work.

And their faith is something that Mark and the staff that I have interacted with live out in their business practices and care for the clients. Even when challenging times hit my company, OCC worked with me to help resolve those issues.

I don’t have an office yet, so my website is the face of my company and since OCC created it, I am proud to send people there to my home online.

Every organization, especially ministries that want to reach people need to have a website. It is the “office” people visit first to see if they should take the time to meet you.

I cannot recommend OurChurch.com enough to any church, ministry, or faith-based company looking for godly, ethical, exceptional website designers to give them the welcoming site they desire.
