I’m super-excited to start our first ever 10 Day Level Up Your Website Challenge with many of you on Monday!
If you’ve already gotten started by joining the private Challenge Facebook group, way to go!
We’ve gotten some good questions about the Challenge, so I’m going to answer them here in this article.
Is the Challenge for me?
If you manage a website for a church, Christian ministry or Christian-owned business, yes, this challenge is for you.
Why should I participate in the Challenge?
- Do you want to see more people visiting your website?
- Do you want to see more of the people who visit your website getting involved in your church or ministry, or purchasing your products or services?
- Is it possible there are problems with your website that you’re not even aware of?
- Are there website-related items that have been on your To Do list for months or even years that you haven’t been able to get to?
- Are you not sure what to do next with your website?
If you answered “Yes” to even one of these questions, this is an opportunity for you to address that issue, with a community of fellow Christian web administrators teaching, guiding and encouraging you along the way.
When is the Challenge?
It starts Monday, July 13, goes for 10 consecutive weekdays. Monday through Friday, take the weekend off, Monday through Friday, finishing Friday, July 24. We encourage you to join the Challenge Facebook group now, even before it starts. We have a few pre-challenge things you can do to get started.
How do I participate?
Join the challenge by joining our private Facebook Group. Each morning of the challenge we will share a brief training that includes a brief action step.
Do I have to do the training at a specific time each day?
No, it’s completely self-paced. Do it first thing in the morning, on your lunch break, after work or after your kids go to bed. Whatever time works best for you.
What if I can’t do it every day?
While there is a lot of benefit to learning and doing a little bit each day (like our quiet time with God), if you miss a day or two, it’s ok, you can catch up.
How much does it cost?
It’s absolutely free!
What’s the catch? Why are you doing this?
There’s no catch. Our mission is to help you live out your mission online. The better your website is at reaching people and helping them get involved in what you do, the more successful your organization will be. That’s our ultimate goal. And if your organization is successful and your website is contributing to that success, we hope you’ll continue to partner with OurChurch.com and allow us to serve you with our website services.
Do I have to be an OurChurch.Com customer to participate?
No. Everyone is welcome.
I’m really busy. I don’t think I have time for this.
The Challenge is designed to be done in 30 minutes a day or less. Chances are you can find 30 minutes a day just by cutting back on TV, social media, browsing the internet or some other entertainment.
Ultimately, though, it comes down to what God is calling you to do. Pray. Ask Him if your website and your ministry/business is worth this investment of your time.

Success is due to our stretching to the challenges of life. Failure comes when we shrink from them. -John Maxwell
