We’ve got less than one week left in Church Website Builder Month. We don’t want you to miss out on any of the great stuff going on this month, so we’re gonna try something we haven’t done here at OurChurch.Com in several years – a monthly newsletter.
1) 42 New WP-EZ Themes Available
Earlier this month we launched 35 new church themes for WP-EZ plus 7 new color variations of the Suco theme. See the announcement for more details.
2) Footer Contact Info
We also launched the new Footer Contact Info feature which, as the name suggests, enables you to include your address and phone number at the bottom of every page of your website. Click the link for more details including a video tutorial/overview.
3) Server Upgrade Tomorrow
In our ongoing efforts to provide the best web hosting possible, we will be replacing the ns3.ourchurch.com server in the wee hours of tomorrow morning, Thursday August 25. There will be some down time – probably less than an hour – between 1-6 AM Eastern time. And then all sites on that server should load much faster.
4) 4 New Featured WP-EZ Church Websites
Have you built or migrated your website to our WP-EZ Website Builder? If not, you’re missing out on some great themes. We’ve added 4 new websites to our WP-EZ Sample Sites page.
- Orchard Bible Church in El Mirage, AZ
- Winfield Baptist Church in Winfield, WV
- First Mennonite Church in Pretty Prairie, KS
- Greater Community First Baptist Church in Dallas, TX
Kudos to the admins of those sites – Mikel, Dale, Everett, LaCedric – on a great job! Go check out the screenshots of their sites on the Sample Sites page and click on any screenshot to go to their site.
If you are still using our old NE1 website builder. We strongly encourage you to migrate to WP-EZ ASAP!
5) Say what?
If you haven’t already done so, please take 5 minutes to complete this short survey. Your feedback helps guide us to know what’s working well and where we can make improvements. If you’ve already completed the survey note that we’ll respond to all questions at the end of the month.
6) Does Your Church Want to Reach More People?
Most people start their search for a church online. If your church wants to reach the people in its community, you need to to rank well in the search engines. And to rank well in search engines, you need to optimize your church website. How? Check out this blog post: How to Optimize Your Church Website with the WP-EZ Church Website Builder
Whew! We’ve got a lot going on this month. If you’ve got any comments or questions, post ’em in the comments below. We’d love to hear from you!

I cannot even access our website on the internet anymore. This is a high priority time for us as a small Christian school that relies on accessibility. Lack of access and loss of business is not acceptable for us right now..
Hi Terrie, what web address are you trying to access? I noticed when you posted your comment you put “ccaofdesoto.com” into the comment form. That website does appear to be down. But the website we provide for you is http://www.ccaacademyofdesoto.com/ and it is working fine.
Thanks for you work Paul, always helpful, keep on.
Thanks “Crochet”
