Jesus taught against the traditions of men, the Pharisees asked Jesus,"Why walk not thy disciples according to the traditions of the elders....? He answered and said unto them, Well hath E-sa`-ias prophesied of you hypocrites,as it is written, This people honoureth Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. Howbeit in vain do they worship Me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the traditions of men....And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition....Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have deliverd: and many such like things do ye." (Mark 7:5,6-7,8,9,13) There is nothing wrong with keeping traditions as long as they do not attempt to change the word of God. The Apostle Paul warned,"As ye have therefore recieved Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ."( Colossians 2:6-8
Jesus is the light of the world, He said "I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but he shall have the light of life"( John 8:12) We should study to show ourselves approved unto God, rightly dividing the word;(2 Tim 2:15) But the truth of the word can only be rightly divided by the illumination of the Holy spirit of Jesus Christ, the only true light,"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in beginning with God....In him was life; and the life was the light of men....That was the true light which lighteth every man that cometh into the world."( John 1:1-4,9)

THE GOLDEN RULE OF INTERPRETATION
When the plain sense of the scripture makes common sense, seek no other sense; Therefore, take every word at its primary, ordinary, usual, literal meaning in the original languages unless the facts of the immediate context, studied in the light of related passages and axiomatic (self-evident) and fundamental truths, indicate clearly otherwise.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We believe that the Word of God collected together in the form of what is commonly known as the Holy Bible is the inerrant Word of the Living Father and God of all the Universe. It is inspired by His Holy Spirit and revealed through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe the Word of God is given to the Church for its edification, its reproof, and its instruction in righteousness. We further believe the Word of God leads the believer to salvation through Jesus the Christ. We believe (Jesus Christ is born of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary. He is God in the flesh, and in Him dwells the fullness of the Godhead. We believe He lived His life in Israel as the Word incarnate in order to demonstrate to all how to walk out the Word and will of God the Father. He also lived His life on Earth as a man in order that He would have all things in common with man and therefore be in a position to know the struggles of man against his adversary, Satan. We believe Jesus Christ, as an act of perfect love and His own free will, gave His life as a blood atonement for our sins, in order to fulfill the requirement of death for sin; that we might be redeemed from the curse of death for our sins, and be restored to the Kingdom of God. We believe salvation begins with the hearing of Gods word and repentance. We believe in the reading, learning, and understanding of God's Word; which builds faith in the power of God to deliver us from our sins and transgressions. We believe that faith and understanding enable us to believe Jesus Christ has redeemed us; that He is our personal Lord and Savior; that He has sanctified us by His shed blood, enabling us to come before the Father in a restored relationship; that by Him, we are reborn as living members of Israel and the Kingdom of God. We believe every believer should be baptized by the washing of water, that is by full immersion baptism, according to Gods Holy word; and the receiving of the Holy Spirit and the imparting of His gifts of ministry to that individual. We believe the Church is the Lord's Earthly vessel for the purpose of spreading the Good News of His salvation and restoration of all men who will believe in the Kingdom of God. The Church, and Jesus Christ anointed servants, Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, and Pastors are the ambassadors of Jesus Christ, representing to all His Word, and His will in all matters before God the Father. The Church nor its anointed servants have the authority to change God's Holy Word. They do not have the authority to add to or take away from any part of it; nor do they have the authority to change any of God's Holy Days or Appointed Times. We believe there is one faith, one Church, one salvation, One Savior, One God the Father.We believe the Word of God should be taken as simply and literally as possible.We believe in obeying the whole Word of God. We believe in loving and serving our Father with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. We believe... The Lord Is God! Amen!
