St Barnabas subscribes to the aims and objectives of "Forward in Faith", and is a Resolution A B & C Parish.
Worship is centred on the Mass, and the style of worship is traditional Anglican Catholic. |

The Parish of Morecambe St Barnabas, is in the west of town, and St Barnabas Church is located on Regent Road at the junction with Westminster Road.
There is an open invitation to join us for worship, whether or not you live within the parish.
If you are unsure about the service, just mention it to the sidesperson when you come in.

Monthly Requiem Mass
The last Thursday morning Mass of each month is a Requiem Mass, to remember the passing of a loved one that particular month.
If you would like to remember someone, please contact Fr Tom, then their name can be added to the remembrance sheet |
Sacramental Ministry
Please ask Fr Tom, if you require Holy Communion at home due to illness or incapacity.
The sacrament of Reconcilliation and Anointing ia also available in the home prior to an operation or where there is need

St Barnabas Day

There will be a Solemn Mass at 7:30pm to celebrate our Patronal Festival. The Bishop of Burnley - the Rt Rev'd John Goddard SSC will preside. Fr Paul Plumpton:Parish Priest from St James, Oldham will preach

Armed Forces Day Service
Saturday 29th June - 2:30pm
At this years service the preacher will be Fr Alan Pierce-Jones
We will also be laying up two Standards above the Memorial Altar |

Child Friendly Church Award
We have, thanks to the work put in by Mabli Craddock and Irene Scarr, been awarded the 'Child Friendly Church Award'
We are only the second church in Morecambe to have achieved the award. |
