Visiting any church, for the very first time can be a tough experience. Well, we want to put you at ease. Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit.
► What is the teaching & preaching like?
Each service will have informative and helpful teaching and preaching, in which Pastor Wyatt unlocks the truths of the Bible in a clear and concise manner. Every message is delivered in such a fashion so that it is easy to understand and relevant for today.
► What about the music?
Here at New Hope our music time is a joyful experience consisting of an uplifting blend of traditional hymns and Christ honoring praise and worship songs. We seek, above all, to honor and magnify Jesus Christ. From the choir, to the congregationals and specials, our worship services will leave you refreshed, inspired, and revived.
► What is here for my kids?
Starting with the nursery, there is something special for children of all ages, from birth through college! There is a safe, clean, and highly staffed nursery for children three years old and under. For children four years old through sixth grade, there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child. For students seventh grade through college age, there is a dynamic teen class taught by our youth pastor and bi-weekly youth meetings on Saturday night.
► What is on the schedule for adults?
Most adults attend the worship service where they enjoy the beautiful and inspiring music of the choir, group specials, and soloists. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Wyatt. This service is a little over one hour in length. We enjoy having our monthly Men's and Ladies' Meetings. For Grandma and Grandpa there is the Senior Saints Choir. On the fourth Sunday of every month, we enjoy a supper in the fellowship hall after the evening service.
► How should I dress?
Our leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional "Sunday dress"; however, there is not a dress code at New Hope Baptist Church for members or guests. We suggest that you be sensitive to the Holy Spirit regarding proper church attire. Ask yourself "What would Jesus do"?
► What is the schedule?
Sunday school begins at 10:00 a.m. Worship service begins at 11:00 a.m. Sunday evening service begins at 6:00 p.m. We also meet on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. for a mid-week Bible study. If you can't be our guest on Sunday morning, we hope you'll visit with us during another service time. You can choose to attend what best fits your needs and schedule.

1. We believe that the Scripture of both the Old and New Testament are verbally inspired, and that the King James Bible is the inerrant, preserved, word of God for the English-speaking people.
