Flagging,floundering spirits
Are revived
In the labyrinthine landscape
Of the sea
Of faith.
Faith has a face
Transfused with wisdom,
Tempered by suffering,
Transmitting an air
Of the most fragrant fortitude.
Faith has a fiery,far-away look,
An incredibly fast-moving brain,
And an extremely determined air
Of dash and daring.
Faith has a flair for firmly believing
In the fruitful and ultimate fulfilment
Of all God's promises.
Faith is an inspiring breath of fresh air
In the dark,lonesome dungeons
Of doubt and despair.
Faith struggles to persevere,
Struggles to hope,
Struggles to endure,
Struggles to live.
Fiery faith
Always involves
A struggle with
The Unknown.

THE DIVINE POET
The blank page
beckons invitingly
With a white glare.
Anointed words appear,line by line,
As the words are penned with passion
And a penchant for writing
That cannot be denied.
The Divine Poet is at work,
Writing furiously
With a vengeance
That brooks no interruption.
The words speak passionately,
Imbued with a new life.
Their extraordinary impact
Will be felt for time immemorial,
As hearts are empowered
With divine strength,
And a vision that endures eternally.

GLISTENING TEARDROPS
Glistening teardrops
Stream from eyes
Long embittered
By the bitter harshness
Of life's cruel burdens.
Surging waters
Threaten to engulf
The poor,hapless soul
Wallowing in self-despair.
The aching heart
Yearns painfully
For a fragment
Of fragile-winged happiness.
Ringlets of doubt
Can be seen
Swiftly circling
As the travailing soul
Prays for a sturdier faith
And the endless shining of the sun.

The sound of music
Fills the air,
As gentle winds
Strum softly
On the strings
Of harps of gold.
Words golden in tone
Can be heard
Sounding clear
As the music swells
And crashes around,
Sweeping on and on,
In a wealth of song,
Reverberating awesomely
Through the hall
In a crescendo of happiness.
It is eternal sunshine
In the soul.
Come,buoyant heart,
Let us storm
The gates of heaven.

I come to God

the Supreme Guide,
the Divine Master,
the Creator.

Come into the desert place

Restore your weary soul,

Perpetual communion with God.

The heart He fills

Envelops his entire being.

"Turn out the light,"
Yelled the world around me,
But in my soul
A light had been ignited,
That could not be extinguished,
A light that would burn
Like the strong noonday sun,
Casting an illuminating glow
That would turn
The whole world upside down,
A light ignited
By the Lord Jesus Christ
To burn forever.

Let's walk hand in hand
With the Lord
Along sunlit ways.
The road that leads to heaven
Is lined with roses.

A thorn or two,will you?
The fragrance of the flower
Oft hides

Heaven's choicest blessings are
Oft hidden
In green calyxes.
Come on,
Let's rise
And pick the roses.

A shining light
Beckons to me,

A torrent of thoughts
Streamed telegraphically
Through the inner recesses
Of my mind.
My heart quickened
At the stunning realization
Of the momentous decision
I had just taken.
I now bore
The mark of
A new being,
Was heir to
A new heritage.
It was remarkable.
I had just become
A Christian.

Luminous light
Illumined the room
Of my soul
As streams of strength
Surged simultaneously
Through my spirit.
A never-failing faith
Impressed itself indelibly
Upon my mind.

By surprise,
The tonic touch
Of divine love,
The truly final termination
Of years of searching,
Of questions without answers,
The tout ensemble
Of an endless quest.

Your life is what you make it,
So stand up,Christian,

That you are well-equipped
In every way
To face life's vicissitudes
As they come,
Never flinching in fear or woe,
But standing up courageously.

SAILING
Let us sail to reach God's heaven,
Paddle,row across the seas,
Never looking at the wind's direction,
But always,only at Jesus.
Let the winds blow ever so strongly,
Let the boat toss,tilt or turn over,
Never fear or even quaver,
For we wear our life-belts in stormy weather,
Our duty is to praise our Saviour,
No earthly fear shall ever prevail.
Let us sail to reach God's heaven,
Paddle,row across the seas,
Never,ever fearing the winds,
But looking only at Jesus.

SUNRISE OF HOPE
Hope rises in our hearts
like the sunrise over a
snow-capped mountain peak,
reaching up to the skies.
Hope gives us gladness
from dawn to dusk,
flooding our souls with
heaven's sweetest music.
Hope assures us of a
rousing victory over defeat,
of a glorious certainty
that the best is yet to come.
Hope opens our eyes
to the beauty of life
and the tranquil walk of faith.
Hope makes us aware
of a God of compassion and kindness,
who touches our wintry despair
with His amazing love.
In the midst of life's stormy seas,
we will have perfect peace,
if Christ is our Captain,
our hope and our guide.
Ring the joybells of life
as we fly on the wings of hope,
with Christ as our Pilot.
Enjoy the glorious sunrise
of hope over the mountains of life.

A CROWN OF BEAUTY
I see Jesus,
He stands before me,
A crown of beauty
On His Head.
Each time I praise Him,
I add a jewel
To His crown.
I see words in them,
Wonderful, Majestic,
Messiah, Redeemer,
Prince of Peace.
As I worship,
I see the Lord's Glory,
Shining ever so brightly,
His Glory so thick.
The Lord calls us
To be people of praise,
To magnify Him
with words of praise.
It's a challenge for us
To grow in God,
Shall we glorify the Lord
with our praises?

A DIVINE STREAM
The love of Jesus
Flows into our hearts
Like a divine stream,
In direct proportion
To our love for Him.
Lord, take my life
and everything that makes it worth living.
I give You everything.
Let Your blessed Will
be done in my life.
All Jesus wants is our fervent love,
And nothing makes us happier
than the clear-cut knowledge
that He loves us.
We are so privileged to love Him,
who gave His life for us,
What a blessed assurance
of divine love.

A FOUNTAIN OF LOVE
'She loved much'
is the greatest, dearest
and noblest tribute
Jesus can pay.
When we love Jesus deeply,
our love for Him leads us to
do something beautiful for Him.
We want to minister unto Jesus
with our love.
Christ has restored us to grace,
and we want to bring Him glory.
We long to refresh Jesus
with our love.
His tender heart longs
for such a love.
A holy fountain of love
wells up joyfully in our hearts.
We find ourselves ministering
unto Jesus with overflowing love.

A LIVING PEN
I write the thoughts I feel,
My heart is full of joy.
Words spill from my pen,
and dance upon the page.
My gladness bursts into song,
and acquires wings to fly.
A new dawn breaks in my heart,
as the light of Jesus shines in.
I cannot fathom the depth
of my heart's emotion,
but I can praise God in song.
Heavenly sunshine floods my soul,
and His fragrance fills my heart.
I lift my voice in praise,
Singing is God's gift to me.

A new day dawns,
Beautifully adorned with light,
Bathing the earth
In an iridescent splendour.
Man revels in God's Creation,
Man thrives in God's Plan,
But wait......
Something is amiss......
Where are the rest
Of our brothers and sisters?
'Am I my brother's keeper? '
Retorted guilt-ridden Cain,
As Abel's blood seeped slowly
Through the earth's crust.
Is mankind united in Christ?
Are we truly one?
If we are......
Please tell me......
Where are the rest
Of our fellow-citizens?

Lord Jesus,
You are the treasure
Of my heart,
The joy of all joys,
Unfailingly new,
Priceless beyond measure,
Unchanging and true.
I always feel
Like rejoicing
When I think of You.

Do you have
a pure heart?
A heart so pure that
You can see Me?

In such a heart
I abide,

A pure heart comes
by cleansing your mind,

cultivate holiness
through the power of My Spirit.

Lord Jesus,

In Your Hands.

Jesus wants us to prepare our hearts,
So that He can live with us.
What is more glorious
Than the Son Of God
Living in our hearts?
Jesus will live with people
Who love Him,
And who put Him
First in all things.
We must surrender our wills to Him.
Nothing stirs our hearts like Jesus.
Our hearts are a sanctuary for Christ,
Which we must keep holy and sacred.
Our greatest joy is that
Jesus lives with us.
We cherish His divine and glorious
Presence in our hearts.
Jesus desires our complete devotion.
He reigns supreme in our hearts.
His loving presence in our hearts
Gives us great joy.

To change the world.
Strength and wisdom
Flow to you from above,
Beauty and grace
Are bestowed on you

You are going deeper

He is the most precious
love of of our lives.
When we look at Him,
we will find life in
all its fullness.
What more can we ask for?
We love Jesus with all our hearts.
All that we are and have are His.
A stream of divine love
flows from His heart to ours.
His presence in our hearts
gives us great joy.
His penetrating gaze of love
fills our hearts with divine grace.
Our hearts overflow
with joy and gladness.
We worship Him.

Adversity
Is God's divine Hand
Guiding in every circumstance,
Moulding and making
God's beloved child
Into the image of His mind.
Adversity serves only as a means
Of giving us so many wonderful things,
Priceless spiritual blessings,
To bring us joy
In the midst of sorrow.
Adversity
Though a dreaded word,
So often deeply feared,
Is our blessed guiding star
Into the glorious haven
Of God's paradise.

The love of Jesus is
our most precious treasure.
It is totally priceless.
It is the most valuable gift
in all the world.
Let us surrender our

He knocks on the door

Loving Jesus will make us

of God's love.

When Jesus draws near us,
Our hearts yearn constantly for Him.
We long to be near Him,
And to feel His abiding presence.
Jesus draws near to
Those who love Him.
Our hearts are filled with
the fragrance of His presence.
The love of Jesus compels Him
to reveal His presence to us.
God calls Himself: 'I Am Who I Am'.
He is actively present in our lives.
God spoke 'face to face' with Moses.
The face of Moses shone
Because of his close encounter
With the holy God.
God reveals Himself to people
By drawing near in His holiness.
A holy encounter with God is
The most profound experience
A person can ever have.
When God reveals Himself to a person,
that person will be
Totally transformed.

FANNED INTO FLAME
Jesus is the loveliest of all Names.
Each time we utter His precious Name,
we are filled with great joy.
We have the glorious assurance
that Jesus is ours.
It is at such moments that
we know our Lord intimately.
We are truly one with Him.
Our love for Jesus is
fanned into flame
at the sweet mention of
His glorious Name.
The precious Name of Jesus
resounds resonantly
in our hearts,
like the chiming of bells.
Peace floods our hearts,
and we are filled with great joy.
There is so much love and tenderness
in the Name of Jesus.

FOCUS OF OUR LOVE
When we open our hearts to
God and His love,
we realise how lovely Jesus is,
and how truly worthy of love.
Jesus pours His love
into our hearts,
and it flows powerfully
back to Himself.
Jesus is the focus of our love.
Our concern is Jesus Himself.
Our hearts are kindled
with love for Him.
We long to do something for Him.
We do what His tender heart
desires most deeply.
We give Him our love.

When we give our
whole love to Jesus,
we must let go of
everything else.
Loving Jesus fills our
hearts with divine happiness.
As we surrender all to Him,
He allows us to taste the
fullness and joy of life.
Jesus says to us:
'Surrender yourself to Me
and My way.
Give me your life
out of love for Me.
And I will fill your hearts
with My overflowing love.

My love for Jesus
Is fanned into flame
As I sing of the glory
Of His Name.
I can hear the resonant
Chiming of bells,
As heaven resounds
In glorious praise,
And an angelic choir sings,
Glory and honour
To the King of Kings.

Let us march to God's drum,
out of step with the world,
but in step with Christ.
Release a laser beam,
A dazzling ray of light,
A clarion call from the pulpit,
penetrating hearts,
searing consciences,
exposing sins,
making sinners cry out:
What can I do to be saved?
The answer echoes back,
loud and clear,
Surrender to God,
Accept Jesus into your heart,
Allow the Holy Spirit
to guide you into all Truth.

We must have Jesus in our hearts.

ultimate fulfillment.

that even suffering cannot affect us.
Jesus can do for us what we,
with our weak human natures,
cannot do for ourselves.
Jesus helps us to
live fruitful lives
that will bless others
and make them happy.
Let us seek Jesus
with all our hearts.
We must be cleansed by
His precious blood.
We want to be with Jesus
at all costs.
He will share His joy,
peace and love with us.
He is the true source of
every blessing in our lives.

HIS LOVING HEART
We must dedicate our wills to God.
Each time we do this,
we become one with Christ.
We are united with Him in love,
of the purest and highest kind.
Our love for Jesus grows when
we commit ourselves to Him daily.
We must submit our lives totally
and completely to the Will of God,
even when He does not fulfill
the deepest desires of our heart.
God's Will is always good,
as it comes from His loving heart.
Even when all our hopes and dreams are
shattered, and life is hard to bear.
Sometimes, we cannot understand
what God is doing in our lives,
or in the lives of others.
Yet, even at such times,
we must not question the supreme

most worthy of love.
We are privileged
to love Him.
Jesus asks: 'Do you love Me?
We hasten to reply:
'Lord, You know everything.
You know that I love You.'
Jesus makes us a royal offer.
'If anyone thirsts,
let Him come to Me and drink'.
Jesus offers us His love.
It is a total and complete love.
In it, we will find everything
to make us happy.
We can take His Word for it,
and accept His kind-hearted offer.
It is an offer of Himself.
He gives us Himself in love.
In order to accept Him,
we must empty our hearts
completely of everything
that fills it.
Jesus cannot pour His love
into a heart that is already
filled with other things.
He looks for an empty heart,
so that He can fill it
with His love.

Lord Jesus,
You are all I have,
You are all I need.
You are wonderful to me.
I am always aware
Of Your Presence.
You are near me.
I am filled with joy.
You will show me
The path that
Leads to life.

You are God's method,
He seeks to use you.
The Holy Spirit anoints
and flows through you.
You are the golden pipe
by which divine oil flows.
You must be pure and flawless,
anointed for service.
Lord, I want to be a person
You can share Your heart with.
Teach me to be Your friend,
That's what I want
more than life itself.
I want to be close to You.
Lord, I am your method,
Use me for Your glory.

Lord Jesus,

I put my trust in You.
I praise Your Promises
And Your Word.
You know my trials,
You record my tears.
You are on my side,
I promise to abide
By Your Word.
I will walk

Shines on me.
I praise You,
My Lord and King.
