In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation [complete + final sacrifice] for our sins (1 John 4:9, 10).
If you have not yet turned to the Lord Jesus from sin, and received Him who died for you and rose again, then you are yet in your sins, spiritually dead, and headed to Hell. And as a sinner, you are completely unable to save yourself on any merit of our own, nor that of a church. But because God the Father “spared not His own Son but delivered up for us all” (Romans 8:32), and raised Him from the dead, then you can (and must) be saved. Only JESUS CHRIST can save you, and it is He who reigns in Heaven as present Savior and future Judge. It is our prayer that you will give your sins and life to Him, be baptized, and follow Him. May you know the life He gives now and for eternity! Praise ye the Lord.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him” (John 3:16-21, 36).
“In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day” (2 Thessalonians 1:8-10).
