6 - The Grace Five Meetings - PRAYER MEETING

JESUS, THE HEALER FOR AN AGE IN NEED OF HEALING

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL GRACE FIVE MEETINGS NEED TO BE DONE IN ORDER TO MEET THE

NEEDS OF THE BODY OF CHRIST.

THESE 5 MEETINGS FORM THE BASIC STRUCTURE OF A CHRISTIAN STRONGHOLD IN ANY

COMMUNITY.

BLESS YOU.

NOT EVERYTHING NEEDS TO BE DONE AT EVERY MEETING, THE HANDBOOK IS TO HELP THE

LEADER OF THE OF THE MEETING MEET THE NEEDS OF THE PEOPLE, UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF

THE HOLY SPIRIT. THE DETAILS HERE SERVES AS AN OVERVIEW.

WHEN JESUS CAME HE FULFILLED ALL OLD TESTAMENT LAW IN HIMSELF.

WE NEED TO FIND A WAY TO EXPRESS THAT IN OURSELVES.

THE SPIRITUAL SACRIFICE LISTED BELOW [1 OF 5 LISTED ON THIS SITE] DOES JUST THAT IN TERMS

PRAYER.

THE PRAYER MEETING HANDBOOK

Jesus said:

But go ye and learn what [that] meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice:

for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

                                                                        Matthew 9:13 [1898 Young’s Literal translation]

Everything that follows in these handbooks must be considered in the light of the above

scripture, and it would do well to remember that Christians also commit sin.

Having experienced mercy it will be our joy to do the spiritual sacrifices detailed in the

handbooks.

PRAYER MEETING

MEAL:- GRAIN OFFERING MEETING

FEAST OF PENTECOST MEETING

"And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for

with such sacrifices God is pleased."

                                                                             Hebrews 13:16.

This meeting manifests the life of the Body of Christ.

In a PRAYER meeting we need people to be the mouthpiece of the Holy Spirit: -

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray, but the

Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the

saints in accordance with God's will.

Romans 8:26 27. [New international Version]

When they arrived, they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit

had not yet come upon any of them; they had simply been baptised into the name of the Lord Jesus.

                                                                                                                 Acts 8:15. [New international Version]

But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.

                                                                                                                 Jude 20. [New international Version]

`Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the Lord Almighty.

                                                                                                                Zechariah 4:6. [New international Version]

After they prayed, the place where they meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit

and spoke the word of God boldly.

                                                                                                                Acts 4:31. [New international Version]

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy

in the Holy Spirit .............................................

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace, as you trust in him, so that you may overflow

with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Romans 14:17, 15:13. [New international Version]

This meeting is best guided by somebody in the prophetic anointing and ministry and

whose flow is to equip the saints for the work of the ministry. [See Plan for Perfection

page 4 on this site]

The meal: grain offering sacrifice is voluntary and the New Testament equivalent is the

giving of our possessions.

In Leviticus 2 we find the grain offering which is bloodless. Some of the offering goes

to the priests for their offering.

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same spirit. There are different kinds of working, but the same

God works all of them in all men.

Now to each one the manifestation of The Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given

through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit,

to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers,

to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another the ability to speak in

different tongues, and still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same

Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.

1 Corinthians 12:4-11. [New international Version]

- In this offering the fine flour in different forms is represented by giving of our money,

time, service, etc.

Raw flour = `I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these of these brothers of

mine, you did for me.

                                                                                                                Matthew 25:40. [New international Version]

Unleavened cakes =....., if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously...

                                                                                                                 Romans 12:8. [New international Version]

Roasted grain =..... I have received full payment and even more; I am amply supplied ... They are a

fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. And my God will meet all your needs according

to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:18, 19. [New international Version]

-> * Not too much speaking, things to be prayed for should be mentioned and explained,

but it is not a time for messages.

-> * If it has not been prayed for at home, do not bring it out to deceive the brethren.

Any matter, which has not been prayed for at home, shows neither need nor worth for

prayer.

This is a principle, a law.

-> * God hears personal prayers, but corporate prayers [i.e. two or more] are heard

even more.

-> * Let us ask God to give us words to express our burden in prayer. Ask Him to raise

up one among us who can express God's thoughts.

-> * For helping to solve personal problems.

-> * Learning to live together.

-> * Learn to communicate with God and man

* Pray until, and continue until, the burden is lifted; then the work is done.

and they were continuing stedfastly in the teaching of the apostles, and the fellowship, and the breaking

of the bread, and the prayers.

and they having heard, with one accord did lift up the voice unto God, and said, `Lord, thou art God, who

didst make the heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and all that are in them,

And they having prayed, the place was shaken in which they were gathered together, and they were all

filled with the Holy Spirit, and were speaking the word of God with freedom

Peter, therefore, indeed, was kept in the prison, and fervent prayer was being made by the assembly unto

God for him,

                                                                                    Acts 2:42, 4:24, 31, 12:5. [1898 Young’s Literal Translation]

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman;

every branch in me not bearing fruit, He doth take it away, and every one bearing fruit, He doth cleanse by

pruning it, that
it may bear more fruit;

already ye are clean, because of the word that I have spoken to you;

remain in me, and I in you, as the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself, if it may not remain in the vine,

so neither ye, if
ye may not remain in me.

I am the vine, ye the branches; he who is remaining in me, and I in him, this one doth bear much fruit, because

apart from
me ye are not able to do anything;

if any one may not remain in me, he was cast forth without as the branch, and was withered, and they gather them,

and
cast to fire, and they are burned;

if ye may remain in me, and my sayings in you may remain, whatever ye may wish ye shall ask, and it shall be

done to you.

In this was my Father glorified, that ye may bear much fruit, and ye shall become my disciples.

                                                                                         John 15:1 - 8  [1898 Young's Literal Translation]

2 Chronicles 7:12 – 15 [New international Version]

the Lord appeared to him at night and said:   "I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for

myself as a temple for sacrifices.” When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts

to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by name, will humble

themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will

forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered

in this place. I have chosen this temple so that my Name may be there forever.

My eyes and my heart will always be there."

                                                                                          Psalm 4:3 [New international Version]

Know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself; the Lord will hear when I call to him.

                                                                           Psalm 20:6 [New international Version]

Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed; he answers him from his holy heaven with the saving power of his

right hand.

                                                                               Psalm 145:19 [New international Version]

He fulfils the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.

                                                                               Isaiah 41:17 [New international Version]

The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. But I the Lord will

answer them.

                                                                               Isaiah 58:6 – 9 [New international Version]

Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke to set

the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor

wanderer with shelter - when you see the naked to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?

.............................Then you will call, and the Lord will answer; you will cry for help, and he will answer;

you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.

                                                                              Zechariah 13:9 [New international Version]

This third I will bring into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my

name and I will answer them; I will say, `They are my people,' and they will say, `The Lord is our God.'

                                                                                 Hebrews 3:7 [New international Version]

So, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion,

during the time of testing in the desert ...

Our prayers are not heard if: -

Psalm 66:18 [New international Version]

If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.

Proverbs 15:8 [New international Version]

The Lord detests the sacrifice of the wicked but he loves those who pursue righteousness.

Proverbs 15:29 [New international Version]

The Lord is far from the wicked but he hears the prayer of the righteous.

Proverbs 28:9 [New international Version]

If anyone turns a deaf ear to the law, even his prayers are detestable.

Isaiah 1:11 – 19 [New international Version]

"The multitude of your sacrifices - what are they to me?" says the Lord. "I have more than enough of

burnt offerings, of rams and the fattened animals; I have no pleasure in the blood of bulls and lambs

and goats. When you come to meet with me, who has asked this of you, this trampling of my courts?

Stop bringing meaningless offerings! Your incense is detestable to me. New Moons, Sabbaths and

convocations - I cannot bear your evil assemblies. Your New Moon festivals and your appointed feasts

my soul hates.

They have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them. When you spread out your hands in prayer,

I will hide my eyes from you; even if you offer many prayers, I will not listen. Your hands are full of blood;

wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight! Stop doing wrong, learn to do right!

Seek justice, encourage the oppressed. Defend the cause of the fatherless, plead the case of the widow.

"Come now, let us reason together," says the Lord. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white

as snow;

though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the

best from the land...

Zechariah 7:13 [New international Version]

"When I called, they did not listen, so when they called, I would not listen,' says the Lord Almighty.

John 9:31 [New International Version]

We know that God does not listen to sinners. He listens to the godly man who does his will.

James 4:2, 3 [New international Version]

You want something but don't get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel

and fight.

You do not have, because you do not ask God. When you ask you do not receive, because you ask with the

wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

1 Peter 3:7 [New international Version]

Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as

the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.

THERE SHOULD BE SOME TIME GIVEN TO MAKE RIGHT WITH THE LORD; WITH

REGARD TO THE SCRIPTURES THAT HAVE BEEN READ. WE NEED TO SEARCH OUR

HEARTS TO SEE IF WE HAVE ENTERED INTO JUDGEMENT ON ANY OF THESE ISSUES,

THUS CAUSING UNFORGIVENESS.

TO HAVE, AND RECEIVE FORGIVENESS [AND INCLUDING FORGIVING OURSELVES]

WE NEED TO REMOVE THE DECISION TO JUDGE, OTHERWISE WE BRING JUDGEMENT

UPON OURSELVES.

I will deal with them according to their conduct, and by their own standards I will judge them.

                                                                               Ezekiel 7:27. [New international Version]

An understanding of faith is necessary for effective prayer and so we look at the following:

FAITH

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

                                                                                Romans 11:1 [New international Version]

There are four basic steps to the process of incubation of your faith: -

*1*       First, to use your faith you must be able to envision a clear-cut objective - a specific

request, a definite objective, with a clear cut goal; a well defined purpose.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your

requests to God.
                                                                                                Philippians 4:6. [New International Bible]

*2*       Second, if you have a vivid picture, you should have a burning desire, a deep concern for those

objectives.

I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!

So, because you are lukewarm--neither hot nor cold--I am about to spit you out of my mouth

Revelations 3:15, 16. [New international Version]

*3*       Third, you must have the substance or assurance. When you have a clear goal, and you have

this burning desire in your heart, then you should kneel down and pray until you have release in your

spirit;  the substance, the assurance, the title-deed, you will be at peace because you know you own it.

Epehesians 4:23  to be made new in the attitude of your minds;

1 Corinthians 14:15  So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind; I will sing with my
spirit, but I will also sing
with my mind.

2 Corinthians 2:13  I still had no peace of mind, because I did not find my brother Titus there. So I said good-bye to them
and went on to
Macedonia.

                                     Ephesians 4:23, 1 Corinthians 14:15, 2 Corinthians 2:13 [New Internationan version]

*4*       Fourth, you should show evidence of your faith - by speaking the Word forth. The bible

says God raised the dead; that means that God performs miracles. Get a clear-cut goal and objective.

Have a desire that burns to the boiling point, and then pray until you have the substance, the assurance.

Then begin to speak the Word about what you have been given assurance.

So shall My Word be that goes forth out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void - without producing

any effect, useless - but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the

thing in which I sent it.

                                                                                    Isaiah 55:11. [New international Version]

 answers to prayer.

"And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased."

                                                                                    Hebrews 13:16. [New international Version]

In Leviticus 2 we find the grain offering which is bloodless. This sacrifice is voluntary and the

New testament equivalent is the giving of ourselves, as God has set the example in the Table

of Shewbread = Manna, staff  of life, health, nourishment, communion, Christ our heavenly bread.

                         See Exodus 16:33, Exodus 25:23-30, John 6:32-51, 1 Corinthians 10:16, 17.

PRAYER REQUESTS: NAME.....................DATE........ [NOW]

Our prayers should have the following pattern from Acts 1:8 -

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem

[ourselves and our family], and in all Judea [the people you have contact with daily], and Samaria [the country

you live in], and to the ends of the earth [and for the rest of the world]"

Our prayers should have the following pattern from Acts 1:8 -

rest of the world]"

                                                                             [New international Version]

The prophet spends much time in prayer, and thus is of great help in these meetings.

15  Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD.

16  They rejoice in your name all day long; they exult in your righteousness.

17  For you are their glory and strength, and by your favour you exalt our horn.

Psalm 89:15 -17. [New international Version]

The `Three Feasts' mentioned in Leviticus, Exodus & Deuteronomy could be shown to have the following

characteristics: -

HISTORICAL

Look for an expression in natural historical Israel

The Law was established

PROPHETICAL

Look for an experiential fulfilment in Jesus

Jesus fulfilled every single requirement of the law

SPIRITUAL

Look for an experiential fulfilment in the Body of Jesus - the Church today.

In the new covenant the Holy Spirit is writing `His Law' in our minds and hearts; this being possible

because Jesus fulfilled every single requirement of old Testament covenant law.

Jesus also said

for, verily I say to you, till that the heaven and the earth may pass away, one iota or one tittle may not pass

away from the law, till that all may come to pass.

                                                                                                                Matthew 5:18 [1898 Young’s Literal Translation]

Biblical type = Paul & John the Baptist.

The pattern in the Godhead is the Son, Who speaks and takes part in actions to bring about the Will of

the Father, and acts always in the interests of the family.

The Prophet should have major input into this area in terms of equipping the saints to do the work of

ministering toward building up Christ's body (the Church).

We observe throughout the scriptures that whenever the feasts, etc, were restored

and observed - great defeats of Israel's enemies; and great prosperity were the

result for Israel.

[Psalm 89:15 See Amplified Bible Version]

So we need to understand the New Testament equivalent of the feasts.

King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz cried out in prayer to heaven about this.

And the Lord sent an angel, who annihilated all the fighting men and the leaders and the officers in the

camp of the Assyrian king. So he withdrew to his own land in disgrace. And when he went into the temple

of his god, some of his sons cut him down with the sword.

So the Lord saved Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib king of Assyria and

from the hand of all the others.

He took care of them on every side.

Many brought offerings to Jerusalem for the Lord and valuable gifts for Hezekiah king of Judah. From then

on he was highly regarded by all the nations.

2 Chronicles 32:18-22. [New International Version]

Mark 7:7 - 9 [New International Version]

They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.' {Isaiah 29:13}

You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to the traditions of men."

And he said to them: "You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe

{Some manuscripts set up} your own traditions!

Matthew 5:17 - 45 [New International Version]

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to

fulfil them.

I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will

by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called

least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practises and teaches these commands will be called great in the

kingdom of heaven.

For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will

certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

"You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, `Do not murder, {Exodus 20:13} and anyone who murders

will be subject to judgment.'

But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother {Some manuscripts brother without cause} will be subject to

judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, `Raca,' {An Aramaic term of contempt} is answerable to the Sanhedrin.

But anyone who says, `You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.

"Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you,

leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.

"Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still with him on the way, or

he may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison.

I tell you the truth, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny. {Greek kodrantes}

"You have heard that it was said, `Do not commit adultery.' {Exodus 20:14}

But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for

your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for

you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

"It has been said, `Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.' {Deut. 24:1}

But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and

anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.

"Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, `Do not break your oath, but keep the oaths you have made

to the Lord.'

But I tell you, Do not swear at all: either by heaven, for it is God's throne;

or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King.

And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black.

Simply let your `Yes' be `Yes', and your `No', `No'; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.

"You have heard that it was said, `Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.'

(Exodus 21:24; Lev. 24:20 and Deut. 19:21)

But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.

And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well.

If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles.

Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.

"You have heard that it was said, `Love your neighbour {Lev. 19:18} and hate your enemy.'

But I tell you: Love your enemies {Some late manuscripts enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those

who hate you} and pray for those who persecute you,

that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends

rain on the righteous and the unright.

                                                                                                                                        Matthew 5:44 [New International Version]

Leviticus 23: 1 -24 [New International Version]

The LORD said to Moses,

"Speak to the Israelites and say to them: `These are my appointed feasts, the appointed feasts of the LORD,

which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies.

"`There are six days when you may work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, a day of sacred assembly.

You are not to do any work; wherever you live, it is a Sabbath to the LORD.

"`These are the LORD's appointed feasts, the sacred assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times:

The LORD's Passover begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month.

On the fifteenth day of that month the LORD's Feast of Unleavened Bread begins; for seven days you must eat

bread made without yeast. On the first day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.

For seven days present an offering made to the LORD by fire. And on the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and

do no regular work.'"

The LORD said to Moses,

"Speak to the Israelites and say to them: `When you enter the land I am going to give you and you reap its harvest,

bring to the priest a sheaf of the first grain you harvest.

He is to wave the sheaf before the LORD so it will be accepted on your behalf; the priest is to wave it on the day

after the Sabbath.

On the day you wave the sheaf, you must sacrifice as a burnt offering to the LORD a lamb a year old without defect,

together with its grain offering of two-tenths of an ephah {That is, probably about 7 1/2 pints (about 4.5 litres); also

in verse 17} of fine flour mixed with oil--an offering made to the LORD by fire, a pleasing aroma--and its drink offering

of a quarter of a hin {That is, probably about 1 1/2 pints (about 1 litre)} of wine.

You must not eat any bread, or roasted or new grain, until the very day you bring this offering to your God. This is to

be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.

"`From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, count off seven full weeks.

Count off fifty days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then present an offering of new grain to the LORD.

From wherever you live, bring two loaves made of two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour, baked with yeast, as a wave

offering of firstfruits to the LORD.

Present with this bread seven male lambs, each a year old and without defect, one young bull and two rams. They will

be a burnt offering to the LORD, together with their grain offerings and drink offerings--an offering made by fire, an

aroma pleasing to the LORD.

Then sacrifice one male goat for a sin offering and two lambs, each a year old, for a fellowship offering. {Traditionally

peace offering}

The priest is to wave the two lambs before the LORD as a wave offering, together with the bread of the firstfruits. They

are a sacred offering to the LORD for the priest.

On that same day you are to proclaim a sacred assembly and do no regular work. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the

generations to come, wherever you live.

"`When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your

harvest. Leave them for the poor and the alien. I am the LORD your God.'"

The LORD said to Moses,

"Say to the Israelites: `On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of rest, a sacred assembly

commemorated with trumpet blasts.

Do no regular work, but present an offering made to the LORD by fire.'"

The LORD said to Moses,

"The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. Hold a sacred assembly and deny yourselves,

{Or and fast; also in verses 29 and

32} and present an offering made to the LORD by fire.

Do no work on that day, because it is the Day of Atonement, when atonement is made for you before the LORD

your God.

Anyone who does not deny himself on that day must be cut off from his people.

I will destroy from among his people anyone who does any work on that day.

You shall do no work at all. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.

It is a sabbath of rest for you, and you must deny yourselves. From the evening of the ninth day of the month

until the following evening you are to observe your sabbath."

The LORD said to Moses,

"Say to the Israelites: `On the fifteenth day of the seventh month the LORD's Feast of Tabernacles begins, and

it lasts for seven days.

The first day is a sacred assembly; do no regular work.

For seven days present offerings made to the LORD by fire, and on the eighth day hold a sacred assembly and

present an offering made to the LORD by fire. It is the closing assembly; do no regular work.

("`These are the LORD's appointed feasts, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies for bringing offerings

made to the LORD by fire --

the burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings required for each day.

These offerings are in addition to those for the LORD's Sabbaths and {Or These feasts are in addition to the

LORD's Sabbaths, and these

offerings are} in addition to your gifts and whatever you have vowed and all the freewill offerings you give to the LORD.)

"`So beginning with the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you have gathered the crops of the land, celebrate the

festival to the LORD for seven days; the first day is a day of rest, and the eighth day also is a day of rest.

On the first day you are to take choice fruit from the trees, and palm fronds, leafy branches and poplars, and rejoice

before the LORD your God for seven days.

Celebrate this as a festival to the LORD for seven days each year. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come; celebrate it in

the seventh month.

Live in booths for seven days: All native-born Israelites are to live in booths

so that your descendants will know that I made the Israelites live in booths when I brought them out of Egypt. I am

the LORD your God.'"

So Moses announced to the Israelites the appointed feasts of the LORD.

Daniel 7 22 - 28 [New International Version]

until the Ancient of Days came and pronounced judgment in favour of the saints of the Most High, and the time came

when they possessed the kingdom.

"He gave me this explanation: `The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from

all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it.

The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the

earlier ones; he will subdue three kings.

He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws. The saints

will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time. {Or for a year, two years and half a year}

"`But the court will sit, and his power will be taken away and completely destroyed for ever.

Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be handed over to the saints,

the people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him.'

"This is the end of the matter. I, Daniel, was deeply troubled by my thoughts, and my face turned pale, but I kept the

matter to myself."

Zechariah !4:1 -21 [New International Version]

A day of the LORD is coming when your plunder will be divided among you.

I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked,

and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.

Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights in the day of battle.

On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in

two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.

You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake

{Or 5 My mountain valley will be blocked and will extend to Azel. It will be blocked as it was blocked because of the

earthquake} in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

On that day there will be no light, no cold or frost.

It will be a unique day, without daytime or night-time--a day known to the LORD. When evening comes, there will

be light.

On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea {That is, the Dead Sea} and half to

the western sea, {That is, the Mediterranean} in summer and in winter.

The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name.

The whole land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, will become like the Arabah. But Jerusalem will be raised

up and remain in its place,

from the Benjamin Gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses.

It will be inhabited; never again will it be destroyed. Jerusalem will be secure.

This is the plague with which the LORD will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: Their flesh will rot

while they are still standing on

their feet, their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.

On that day men will be stricken by the LORD with great panic. Each man will seize the hand of another, and they

will attack each other.

Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected--great quantities of

gold and silver and clothing.

A similar plague will strike the horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the animals in those camps.

Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King,

the LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.

If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they will have

no rain.

If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain. The LORD {Or part, then the LORD} will

bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.

This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the

Feast of Tabernacles.

On that day HOLY TO THE LORD will be inscribed on the bells of the horses, and the cooking pots in the LORD's

house will be like the sacred bowls in front of the altar.

Every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the LORD Almighty, and all who come to sacrifice will take some

of the pots and cook in them. Andon that day there will no longer be a Canaanite {Or merchant} in the house of

the LORD Almighty.

I write to you, dear children,

because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name.

I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning.

I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one.

I write to you, dear children, because you have known the Father.

I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning.

I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you,

and you have overcome the evil one.

1 John 2:12,13,14. [New international Version]

DEAR CHILDREN

because you have known the Father. Born again-new birth

The Lord said to Moses, Speak to the Israelites and say to them: "These are my appointed feasts, the

appointed feasts of the Lord, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies.

                                                                                    Leviticus 23:1,2. [New international Version]

These are the Lord's appointed feasts, the sacred assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times: The Lord's Passover begins at

twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month. On the fifteenth day of that month the Lord's Feast of Unleavened Bread begins; for seven days

you must eat bread made without yeast. On the first day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. For seven days present an offering made

to the Lord by fire. And on the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.

                                                                                    Leviticus 23:4-8. [New international Version]

FEAST OF PENTECOST...............................................................................PRAYER MEETING

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent

wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of

fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak

in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

                                                                                    Acts 2:1-3. [New international Version]

You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the

living God, not on tablets of stone but on the tablets of human hearts.

2 Corinthians 3:3. [New international Version]

Feast of weeks - Shavouth... 7 weeks + 1 day = 50

"`From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, count off seven full weeks.

Count off fifty days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then present an offering of new grain to the Lord.

                                                                                    Leviticus 23:15,16. [New international Version]

* Harvest

"`When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings

of your harvest. Leave them for the poor and the alien.'"

                                                                                    Leviticus 23:22. [New international Version]

The 3rd month of the year of historical Israel's calendar was when the Feast of Pentecost took place. In

terms of our modern calendar that would be the 4th June [for the first day] and the 5th June [for the

second day], depending whether the year is a leap year or not.

In Israel at the time in the farming calendar during the 4th to 6th month there was nothing, a dryness,

barrenness etc.

As the body of Christ we are not separated from the suffering of Christ. As we separate ourselves from

the world we will also experience the following scripture, which will feel like a time in the wilderness.

For the Son of Man in his day will be like the lightning, which flashes and lights up the sky from one end to the other.

But first he must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.

                                                                                    Luke 17:24,25. [New international Version]

This however is only a 60 fold experience in the soul [the Outer court in the tabernacle] as the Holy Spirit

helps us have our first contact with the knowledge that we are in a position to start taking control of our

soul; to take it back from satan's control; and that Jesus died to save us from our sins. We come under

the conviction that in the world we were dead to our God; but alive in God in Christ Jesus.

As we live in ever increasing victory in the Lord we begin to frequent the Holy place until we begin to `live'

there.

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent

wind came from heaven
and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of

fire that separated and came to rest on each
of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak

in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

                                                                                     Acts 2:1-4. [New international Version]

The type and shadow in the Old Testament was `the cloud' leading the way through the wilderness to the

Promised Land. The Supernatural Voice of God provided the Law written on stone. In the New Testament

context the Law is written on our hearts and minds in the new covenant; with the Holy Spirit enlivening and

quickening our conscience until we reach:

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Against such things there is no law.

                                                                                    Galatians 5:22,23. [New international Version]

The Levites did as Moses commanded, and that day about three thousand of the people died. Then Moses said,

"You have been set apart to the Lord today, for you were against your own sons and brothers, and he has blessed

you this day.

                                                                                    Exodus 32:38. [New international Version]

Those who accepted his message were baptised, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.

                                                                                                Acts 2:41 [New international Version]

Thus the Christian experience needs to be brought in line with the word of God, so that we can begin to live

the promises of God.

Peter replied, "Repent and be baptised, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. And

you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

                                                                                    Acts 2:38,39. [New international Version]

But the Counsellor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you

of everything I have said to you.

                                                                                    John 14:26 [New international Version]

The Holy Spirit needs an environment that is maximised for His presence; because He will not function where

the will of the Father is not being carried out. We see from the scriptures below where the problem areas are.

Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when

the sun came up, the plants were scorched; they withered because they had no root.

Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants.

                                                                                    Matthew 13:5-7. [New international Version]

The one who received the seed that fell on rocky places is the man who hears the word and at once

receives it with joy. But since he has no root, he lasts only a short. When trouble or persecution comes

because of the word, he quickly falls away.

The one who received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries

of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful.

                                                                        Matthew 13:20-22. [New international Version]

So the beginnings of `tabernacle' life start to take place; as we learn what is needed to be the living, walking,

talking temple of the living God.

This is accomplished by means of the spirituals offerings. Thus we enter into and begin to flow eventually in

full Melchizedekal priesthood.

As we begin to flow with revelation knowledge as a result of the Holy Spirit working with us through the

five-fold ministry we experience the candlestick in the Holy Place of the Temple within us.

When God's word becomes `rhema' [where a scripture apperas to leap out of the page and gains new meaning]

to us, and we begin to share God's Word with others we will begin to experience persecution for the Word's sake

at the table of Shewbread. 'Rhema' indicates where a portion of the bible seems to leap off the page in

understanding and becomes a very personal experience.
