Confusion and perplexity.
Recent events in this country have taken many people by surprised and they are wondering, Is God still in charge of human events?
Our government seems to give aid to the enemies of Israel while our economy is failing, Our government seems to give aid to enemies of free speech and the freedom of religion, especially the freedom to worship the Lord God through His Son Jesus, the homosexual agenda is taught in our schools, the main stream media can no longer be trusted to tell the truth, all unrighteous behavior and law breaking by our politicians have become the norm, while the Bible can not be taught and prayer in the name of Jesus is banned, and judges in black robes will decide whether marriage is still as God ordained or something vile.
Jesus mentioned this in scripture, where many shall loose their faith and the word of God will be taken away from them by the cares of the days. And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. If we follow too closely, or become tangled in what our government is doing, what atheist and the agendas of others are doing, it will put a strain upon all who believe in Christ and it could, according to Christ, choke the word, and it will become unfruitful.
Will anyone seek out Gods council on these matters or do they believe that God is dead? This brings a warning from the Lord; And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. ( This is referring to another warning in scripture that states that Gods spirit shall not always strive with man.)
Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil.
Mans economy will fail (Biblical prophecy.), famine will run through this world, not the famine of bread but for the word of God,(Biblical prophecy.) the time is coming soon that unrighteous men will, for once, seek out God but will not be able to find Him, for their hearts are becoming cold and hard against righteousness.
God is alive, if not, why then are men fearful of the symbol of the cross and go to law to remove its presence, its not because of some man made law that they misrepresent and misinterpret, its because they fear that the Bible is true, they are also fearful of a painting that supposedly represents the face of Jesus, they are trying to hide their face from the one who will soon, judge them(Biblical prophecy.), which by the way doesn’t resemble Jesus anyway this all according to the Bible as stated here; “For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.” God desired men to accept Jesus as His Son, not for His appearance but because of His message, all through faith.
To prove that God is alive, just look at life itself, read everything that man has written to disprove the existence of Gods word and then you can see that it makes no sense at all. Man did not come from an evolutionary process, this earth and all the other planets didn’t just come to life after a so called big bang, for not even the scientist today can explain where the elements for this big bang came from, they can't explain where all the different plants, trees and flowers come from, so they ignore all of this and push an anti-God agenda on men who will believe their lies.
And why do they do these things, its because they know in their hearts that God is alive and they will be judged, they are trying, like everyone else that believes there is no God, that if they refute Gods existence then they will be accepted and justified by man. They have become as some animals, burying their heads in the sand and hope the danger will just go away. For as it is written, The fool says in his heart, There is no God.
Look at Biblical prophecy in today's world, the prophecies of the end of days mirror the days of Noah, the days of Lot and Babylon, the downfall of nations mirror the fallen nations and cities of the past, just as was the fall and destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah so shall it all come to pass.
The surrounding of Israel by enemies that seek her destruction.(Biblical prophecy.) Jesus stated of the end days; And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Ask yourself this, How could a man know this two thousand years before it took place, if He were not the Son of God.
Our nation and the nations of the world match Gods word as here; “And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.”
Haughty; Proceeding from excessive pride, or pride mingled with contempt; manifesting pride and disdain. Do we not see this in today's world, do we not see this in our own country? Hasn't the pride of men taken control of just about every life and lifestyle in America? Why will this world be destroyed by God? “The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.”
Abomination; Hence, defilement, pollution, in a physical sense, or evil doctrines and practices, which are moral defilements. God states that in these end days, physical defilements and pollutions of natural laws, pollution, evil doctrines and practices, which are moral defilements, shall take place. Men today are trying to make laws that justify immoral acts and lifestyles, put burdens on believers in God, trying to limit their freedom to speak out on Biblical matters, trying to make laws that will allow the unrighteous to sue at courts if Christians refuse to participate in their agendas, many churches bring forth evil doctrines and practices changing the truth of Gods word into a lie.
For the believers remember this; For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Isaiah 53:2 Isa. 24:5 2Co 4:17-18 Isa 1:15-1
Jude 1:15 1st Peter 4
I will have mercy, and not sacrifice.
“But go ye and learn what that meaneth,: I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
In the last fifty years we have seen many men killing themselves to make political statements, some believed they were advancing good causes, some believed they were doing God a service, but in reality they were condemning their souls to everlasting punishment.
Men still, in today’s world, kill themselves and others in the name of God, God had never spoke to them and neither did God send them. The Lord states of these false prophets; “Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.”
The deceiving of the heart is the greatest danger in these end days.
Jesus never came to make a political statement, nor did he come to change any political process but he came to seek out and save those that were lost, just as is written; “I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
Salvation comes from the admission that one is lost and the repentant heart. In today's society we see the break down of morality, we see many mainline churches teaching a different gospel than the one brought to us by Christ. This puts a burden not only on those that hold true to the Gospel but it also puts a burden upon the lost who see a division in the churches.
What do we say then to those that ask about this division, we tell them not our opinion but what God says about it. “If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” Why then would he be partaker of his evil deeds? Because he would give credence and authority behind the false doctrine.
We know that in these end days many false prophets and teachers shall arise and deceive themselves and others, we know by Biblical prophecy that we shall see and hear of false doctrine. We have also seen our own government officials spouting false doctrine in the laws that many have passed and promote as being good for the general welfare, saying that they are followers of God but denying His word as being the ultimate authority on legal, civil and moral matters. The Lord says, Come let us reason one with another.
Why is this good to know? Deception comes in many forms, sizes shapes and genders. Because any man can make a god unto himself out of anything, another man, animal, plant, political party, ideology, or even an entire governmental system. The Lord established government for the sake of man, because they refused to be ruled by Him, but man has taken the gift of government and have corrupted it. We are to obey the law but resist evil.
I will have mercy.
Mercy, It implies benevolence, tenderness, mildness, pity or compassion, and clemency. God will have mercy upon all who will confess their sins and repent thereof. His mercy hides the sin of those that ask and sends their sins to the deeps of the sea never to be remembered again. God grants mercy to men who commit sin, murder, adultery, fornication, and suchlike and we must remember that the Lord stated of men in bondage to sin;
they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. Alcoholism, homosexuality, adultery, theft and murder(which includes abortion.) are all some of the things that have brought multitudes into bondage to sin and Satan.
“and not sacrifice.” Sacrifice; An offering made to God by killing and burning some animal upon an altar, as an acknowledgment of his power and providence, or to make atonement for sin, appease his wrath or conciliate his favor, or to express thankfulness for his benefits.
The Lord no longer will accept sacrifices, He stated that He was full of the blood of animals. No man can offer any sacrifice that will appease God nor will any sacrifice be accepted for the forgiveness of sins except the sacrifice of the Lords Son Jesus.
Which brings us to the difference between those that are saved and those that are still lost.
We know that God will not hear the prayers of a sinner unless he is repenting, I want to make that perfectly clear; “Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.” I have heard many that are lost state that they have prayed to God for different things and they received them, but they must remember that the Lord stated of the lost and saved, “That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.” Just because you receive that for which you asked for doesn’t mean that the Lord gave it to you, nor does it mean that the Lord had a hand in it, for good things, and bad things, happen to the just and unjust.
In times of peril, the saved can turn to the Lord for deliverance, those that are lost cannot. In times of persecution the saved can turn to the Lord for strength, the lost have no where to turn except to other men. But who is man, is he someone that can deliver in times of famine, peril, tribulation, persecution, can any man save those that are lost without direction in life? Who is man that the Lord should take account of Him.
Be not deceived, hell is real, the lake of fire was built by God for the unrighteous and eternity is only one heart beat away. You may be called to repent only one time, for no man is guaranteed a second chance, your entire future may rest upon your answer. You give nothing away when you accept Jesus but you inherit eternal life. The things that had you in bondage, sin, the pride of life and the pride of the eyes, will be removed by yourself, for you will be reborn into a new man seeking only those things that are of God. All things pass away behold all things become new. Look at this world, do you really believe things can remain the same, do you really believe that there is no end to this earth as it is, no end to time?
Mat 9:13 Jer 14:14 2Jn 1:10-11
Lazarus and the rich man.
“There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.”
As you can see in these passages, Jesus never stated that the rich man never fed Lazarus, for this is not the intention of Christ speaking these things. He was speaking of the difference between the poor and the rich. We can see in scripture many instances of where Jesus blessed the poor, and even stated that we shall always have the poor with us. He also stated many times in scripture about the rich, who would very unlikely enter into the kingdom of Heaven because of their vast wealth and non dependance on the Lord.
Lets take these verses and see what Jesus was trying to communicate to the people.
“There was a certain rich man.” Certain; Sure; true; undoubted; unquestionable; that cannot be denied; existing in fact and truth. Jesus was telling a true event. This rich man was probably well known as to giving to the poor the very basic of needs, that we even see today, food pantries, soup kitchens and the like. I say this because of this passage; “which was laid at his gate.” Those that had compassion on Lazarus knew that he would be able to obtain what was needed for his survival, so they took him to a know place of aid. Why then did not those that took Lazarus to the rich mans gate not feed him themselves?
The answer to that is simple; And “desiring” to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table. Lazarus knew that others would have assisted him, but his desire put him in direct contact with this specific rich man. Did Lazarus have other motives besides food that were unknown to him? The answer again is yes. Desire is that internal act, which, by influencing the will, makes us proceed to action. The Lord had put the desire of the rich mans crumbs onto Lazarus, not to test him but to judge the actions of the rich man.
Lets compare Psa 37:25 to the position that the Lord had Lazarus. “ I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” When a man is young, he knows very little about life and the consequences of actions that come with wrong decisions, in youth a man has had no experiences that he can use to plot out a life of wealth nor prosperity, so without knowledge there is no wisdom, but when a man is old, he recalls the past and can therefore come to conclusions that are based upon reality and not speculations. In Psa. 37:25 David was expressing his experiences and knowledge of his past.
He can then know for a certainty the righteous from the unrighteous, the good from the evil and can know whether a man of righteousness has been forsaken by the Lord upon whom he has trusted upon. Was Lazarus therefore begging for bread on the street which would be a contradiction of Psa. 37:25? The answer is, no. Lazarus was at a place that was directed by God.
The Lord could have had those that laid him at the gate of the rich man to feed him, but as each man has an opportunity to show compassion, mercy and righteous behavior, this rich man was also given an opportunity to show his heart. God was using these two people to show the difference between the rich mans heart and the heart of Lazarus. Unknown to the rich man, his eternal future hung in the balance in his decisions concerning this one poor man, his decision was the wrong one.
By comparing scripture with scripture, we see that Lazarus was favored by God and righteousness was imputed unto him if this were not so, Lazarus would not have been taken to Abraham’s bosom and been comforted. So even though Lazarus was a poor man, he had no reason to beg for food, because he knew that the Lord would use what others had to sustain him in times of need. That is still true today, He will take from those that have and give to those that are in need.
The question here is, did this rich man become righteous because he did give some aid to the poor? The answer is no. The reason behind this is noted in 1Co. 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
The name Lazarus means,(Assistance of God.)” In Hebrew beggar simply means, “Poor man or a man who only asks for small things.”
“the dogs came and licked his sores.” This showing that even animals will have pity on those that cannot help themselves, when the rich will not show compassion on those in dire need. This passage also relates to others in the Bible where the Lord spoke of the good Samaritan.

2Jn 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 2Ti 3:16-17; All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Gal 1:8-11; But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
