Letter to the Readers

September 2011


We want to say a heartfelt thank you and God bless you to all of our prayer partners. In our pray times we continue to intercede for those of you who notify us of your prayer requests. Just like we are seeing a harvest of vegetables from our small backyard garden plot, we pray that God will grant to us a spiritual harvest of answered prayers and testimonies of salvation and healings. God is so good and He continues to provide for out ministry needs through steady employment and by the generosity of some of our partners. Please feel free to write and share with us your prayer concerns as well as your praise reports. We ask that you will be in special prayer for the young adult son of one of this ministry's partners who is going through an especially trying time in His life. Please pray that God would surround Him with his angels and that He would grant to this young man the Peace of God that passes all understanding. As always It is a privilege to be able to communicate with so many of you each month and to share the nuggets of inspiration that God blesses us with during our private devotions. As we continue to reach out to the nation and even the world through the ministries that the Lord has entrusted us with, the "All About Jesus Newsletter," the "Prophetic Connections Media Production," which includes both an internet radio station and a podcasting website and the "Life Changers by Patricia" greeting cards. Mission Statement

Our mission is to seek out the new family and friends that God has given us. These include the lonely, desperate and the hurting people who have been bruised and injured because of their life situations. This includes Christian leaders and lay people who are in desperate need of healing and are seeking an answer to life's difficulties that they cannot find in the world. Our mission simply stated is to present to a lost and dying world, Jesus Christ and Him crucified. With God nothing is impossible. There is no ditch too deep, any darkness too black, no sin too great but that the love of God in His mercy and grace can touch and His glorious light can illuminate. No matter how bleak the future looks, He can heal, He can save, and He can resurrect. 

A Sound From Heaven

 

“And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared to them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat on each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” Acts 2:2-4

            The miraculous coming of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost is an event that was foretold in the Old Testament Book of Joel verse 2:28 “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions…” After Jesus’ redeeming and sin defeating death on the Cross of Calvary and His subsequent victorious Resurrection from the dead, He appeared to His disciples numerous times. Paul gives us this testimony in 1 Corinthian 15:3-8 which describes this event which says, “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas, (Peter) then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred brethren at one time, most of whom remain until now, but some have fallen asleep; then He appeared to James, then to all the apostles; and last of all, as to one untimely born, He appeared to me also.”

            Jesus gave  many instructions to the apostles and disciples during His time with them after the resurrection. He gave to them the Great Commission and told them to evangelize the earth with the Gospel of the Kingdom. But first of all  Jesus made it clear that they needed to receive the Power of the Holy Spirit so that they could be His witnesses. In John 20:21-22 Jesus said, “Peace be to you: as My Father has sent Me, even so send I you. And when He had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, Receive you the Holy Ghost…”  On the day of Pentecost the breath of Jesus became an audible and tangible sign, like “a sound from Heaven as a mighty rushing wind”  to the early church and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem of His incredible and awesome power. They were filled with the Holy Spirit and given the ability to be witnesses for Him in “Jerusalem and Judea and to the uttermost ends of the earth.” According to Revelation 19:10, …“the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy.” God has empowered His people by the Holy Spirit to be bold witnesses for His namesake so that many souls can be saved during the dispensation of the church in which we are still living today as we look forward to the soon coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

            Romans 10:18 says “their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.” It is the sound of the Gospel Message of the Cross being preached that Paul is giving reference to here and in Romans 10:8-13 he gives us an encapsulation of this message which says, “The word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture says, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

            I implore you to ask God to fill you with the Baptism of His Holy Spirit and to make you  a witness for the Name of Jesus Christ. Then you will have the Power and Presence of the Holy Spirit working mightily in your life.

Refreshed In God 

God help me in this dry place

Where nothing at all makes sense.

Even your Word that I know is rich

Leaves me empty and feeling tense.
 

God I know you are not the blame

Because it was me who has failed.

Help me Holy Spirit my comforter

Prophetic Word

 

 

Out of the Ashes

“Out of the ashes of your life I have brought beauty. The light of My Presence has shined forth that all the world might see. The Message of My Kingdom is spreading forth that all the world might see that I Am the answer says the Lord and there is no other. The Words I have spoke are not hidden but they are broadcast says the Lord throughout the world. There are those who hear My Word, says the Lord and reject it. There are those who hear My Word and consider it and yet put it off for yet some more convenient season. There are those who hear My Word and take it to heart and come to the foot of My Cross and look unto Me who was pierced for the ransom of their souls.

Arise says the Lord and come unto Me because I Am He that spoke light into the darkness. I Am He says the Lord who said “Let there be and it was so.” I Am He, says the Lord, that is saying that a revival of repentance and of the Gospel of the Cross shall be preached in all the world as a witness before the great catching away of My Bride. This is what the Lord is saying.”

Repent

October 25, 2009

“I Am the Lord your God, be obedient to My voice and speak these words unto the people of this Nation. Thus says the Lord, I Am the God who has created all things and by My Word alone all things exist. I issue a command and it goes forth and becomes tangible and visible. I Am the God that says to a people and a Nation, ‘Prosper and be great in the eyes of the world.’ This is because, says the Lord, that I desire a place of rest for My people to inhabit in order that the preaching of My Word might spread throughout the land. And this is exactly what has happened says the Lord, in the United States of America. I brought men and women of conscience and morality and people who were devoted to seeking My Will for their lives to this continent. (meaning the founding fathers) Under their leadership the laws of this Nation came into being as a result of the inspiration of My Holy Word. This Nation has prospered because they took direction from Me at the conception and the foundation of this country. I have given a space of Grace to this land in order that the people of this nation, the leaders who are in authority and the members of My Body, the Church, would repent of the evil that has been done in My sight.

How dare you, says the Lord, to slaughter innocent babies in their mother’s womb. How dare you says the Lord to turn your back on My Holy Word and My ways of righteousness and to act as though Godly living is of no value. How dare you, says the Lord, to raise up the banner of perversion and say that is the normal, acceptable way of life. Repent, says the Lord. Repent and turn from your ungodly life styles. Repent, says the Lord and turn your face back to Me, the God of Everlasting Salvation. Come unto Me, says the Lord. Come to the foot of the Cross of Jesus Christ the righteous and be covered by the Blood of the Lamb and be washed clean. And I will forgive you of your iniquities and remember your sins no more. And I will restore the ancient paths upon which this Nation was founded. This is what the Lord is saying.”
