Friday July 24 we completed the 10 Day Level Up Your Website Challenge! Woohoo!

More than 40 people joined the OurChurch.com Facebook Group to participate in the Challenge which was designed to help web administrators focus for about 30 minutes a day on a brief training and action steps to help them improve their websites in 10 key areas.

Best Church Websites of 2020

By going through the Challenge, addressing issues, and requesting a free website review, 4 churches received the Best Church Websites of 2020 award!

Congrats to Bethel Baptist Church, St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Living Word Lutheran Church, and Spring Lake Baptist Church on their awards!

To get feedback on your website, you can get a free website review here.

Feedback from Challenge Participants

We asked the people who participated in the Challenge to complete an anonymous feedback survey. Here is some of what they told us:

  • 100% of respondents rated the quality of the training was Outstanding or Very Good.
  • 100% of respondents rated the interaction and help provided by the OCC team as Outstanding.
  • 67% of respondents reported as a result of the Challenge their website is now helping their organization live out its mission online a lot better than it was. (Another 17% reported a little better)

Here are some of the comments we received:

[My biggest positive from the Challenge was] the interaction for Our Church & other members.

The daily reviews that focused on different topics helped me reevaluate our entire site. The discussions reminded me of our goals for our website. And the overall process helped me see where I still had work that needed to be done.

[The 10 Day Challenge] vastly increased my horizon as to what I can do with my website on my limited resources.

While this Challenge is over, we want to build on the community and momentum that’s been developed in our private Facebook Group. We invite you to join the group where we’ll be providing exclusive content not shared anywhere else plus you can ask questions about websites and online communications, get feedback on ideas, and interact with other Christian website administrators.

And yes, we plan on doing more challenges in the future.
