This past week, my son’s baseball team (Patriots) played in a end of the season “World Series” tournament. There were 13 teams entered in their age group for this tournament. The first day of the tournament, the Patriots played some of the worst baseball of the season. As a result, they went 0-2 for the day. At that point, they could have given up and tossed in the towel.
But instead, they decided to turn things around. I saw team work and extra effort coming from every player. They encouraged each other through adversity and celebrated when teammates made exceptional plays. This lead to them winning 6 straight games (including beating the #1 seed) and they brought home the championship!
Just like the Patriots started, your website may have gotten off to a bad start or it may be on a “losing streak”. However, you always have the opportunity to turn things around.
If you feel like your website is headed in the wrong direction, take these three steps to turn it around:
- Evaluate: Take a little bit of time to review your website and make a list of what is not working well or doesn’t look good.
- Communicate: Gather with the other decision makers from your church or organization to discuss how you are going to address the church website issues.
- Initiate: If you are able to fix the website issues yourself, start the process of resolving the problems. If you need outside help, initiate contact with a reputable website company (hey, I know one:) to help you get things back on track.
If you are ready to initiate contact, just contact us here!
I look forward to talking with you and helping you BRING HOME THE CHAMPIONSHIP!
