Remember Easter?
It’s been 2+ weeks since we celebrated Jesus’s resurrection, and this first question from last night’s #ChSocM church social media chat resonated with me…
T1: When folks are waning and falling back into the shadows of the norm, how do we keep the spirit of Easter alive? #chsocm
Easter changed everything!
Through Jesus’s death and resurrection, God conquered sin and death forever.
Yet it’s so easy to fall back into the same patters we had before Easter, isn’t it? I know it is for me. Living for the routine instead of resurrection, settling for the natural life instead of the supernatural.
It’s our responsibility and privilege as communications leaders to inspire and remind people that Easter is not a one-day-a-year observation, but it is the transforming point in history. From that day forward, the world has never been the same!
From this day forward, may you never have a routine or natural day. May every day be remarkable and supernatural!
So, share with us…
- What if anything are you doing to keep the spirit of Easter alive in your life, your church your ministry?
- How could we use our online communication – websites, blogs, social media, etc – to do this?
One idea shared repeatedly in last night’s chat is to share stories of God overcoming sin and death in people’s lives.
