Many things have a slower pace during Summer, but for the best user experience and best Google search rankings, your website shouldn’t be one of them.
We’re continuing our series Game-Changing Mindset for Summer. Instead of putting everything on cruise control and waiting for everyone to get back from their vacations, Summer is a great time to try new things.
Google now factors page speed into their mobile search rankings.
If your website is slow, not only hurts your visitors’ experience but also your Google search rankings.

The good thing is, it’s easy to evaluate page speed and do something about it.
With most Google search ranking factors, it’s hard to know exactly how your website is doing, but for page speed, Google actually provides a page speed test called PageSpeed Insights. This handy tool provides you with a PageSpeed score for your website between 0 and 100. If that wasn’t cool enough, it also provides a list of things you can do to improve your website’s score.
One of the biggest contributors to slow PageSpeeds is big images. So, be prepared to optimize images. Pixlr Express is a free, easy-to-use online image editor that can be used to optimize images.
Other issues may require the help of a website developer.
Let’s see who can make the biggest improvement in their PageSpeed score.

Great article again 🙂 Paul, you always share us the best! Sure the speed of the website also very important 🙂
I checked the speed of my site by the tool, the score only “26”, not good 🙁
Not good, but at least now you know and you can take steps to improve.
Yes, I will try to improve my site speed 🙂 Thank you Paul 🙂
