Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. – 1 Timothy 4:12
This verse was written by the apostle Paul to his youthful colleague and mentee Timothy. While Paul was referring to Timothy’s physical age and thus his lack of life experience, the same exhortation can be applied to those who are new to any kingdom-building endeavor.
Some of you are new to Facebook or twitter, new to blogging, new to creating or managing websites for a church or ministry, or new to living out your faith online.
Don’t let anyone look down on you because of that, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
Follow the Holy Spirit’s leading with humility but also with confidence that God uses and blesses the efforts of those who obediently follow Him and faithfully serve Him and others.

Amen!
I loved this post. It's about being true to your call and not what other people have to say. Such a beautiful blog Paul!
Natasha, great point – it is about being true to your call no matter what others have to say.
Thank you for the encouragement in this post. Much needed right at this time. I usually don't read these, but God knows what we need right when we need it and provides it in various ways. God Bless.
