Here we are, the last week of 2011. This is a big week for reflection, introspection and looking back at the past year. You see it in the “Best of 2011” TV shows and the “Top [whatever] of 2011” blog posts, but how about in your own communications?
What were your 2011 communications goals? Did you meet them?
Some of the communications highlights for us at OurChurch.Com include:
- Launching a new help desk and knowledge base
- Putting our original Beacon Web Builder out to pasture
- Doing the Less Clutter, Less Noise and @StickyJesus group blog projects
- Launching the new OurChurch.Com website (Have you seen it?)
What were your top communications accomplishments of 2011?
Did you start anything new? End something old? Take something to the next level? Communicate more effectively in a clearly quantifiable way? Got any stories to tell of how good communications made a difference in your organization?

We overhauled our weekly print bulletin, launched a weekly E-News, streamlined verbal announcements, launched a temporary website (an overhaul of the last one) while we began a process of re-branding. Phew! It was quite a year…eight months actually, because we've done it all since I came on board in April. 2012 will be another year with lots of forward progress, Lord willing. https://www.Ourchurch.com has been a great resource. Thanks for all you do and keep up the great work! Soli Deo Gloria!
Way to go, Kristen! Sounds like you took several steps forward towards more effective communication in 2011.
You actually make it seem so easy together with your presentation however I find this matter to be really something that I believe I'd never understand. It sort of feels too complicated and very wide for me. I am looking forward on your subsequent publish, I will attempt to get the hold of it. Check best-college-essay.com for best essays.
