Can you believe it’s already the last Wednesday of January?
With that in mind, here are 5 things we announced this month that we don’t want you to miss out on.
1) Last Day for Website Bundles – On January 5 we re-introduced Website Bundles, which combine web hosting, domain registration, a personalized theme, WP-EZ Premium and search registration and save you more than $100. If you want a bundle, you must order your bundle today.
2) NE1 Usage Fee Coming – We launched our new WP-EZ Website Builder more than 8 months ago. Our old NE1 Website Builder uses obsolete software that has known security flaws, so we strongly encourage NE1 users to migrate to WP-EZ. Because NE1 site are getting hacked and it takes extra time for us to restore hacked sites and remove malware, we will be adding a $5/mo NE1 Usage Fee starting in March to help us recoup some of the cost of supporting NE1. More details…
3) Free Stock Photos for WP-EZ – We added a new plugin to our WP-EZ website builder which enables users to quickly and easily add beautiful stock photos to their websites from Pixabay. Read more…
4) WP-EZ Login Change – Earlier this month we had some hackers who tried to hack WP-EZ sites. They were unsuccessful, but their attempts were putting a high load on our servers. To combat this, we changed how users get to the WP-EZ Dashboard. You must login to MyOCC, click the Website Builder menu option, and then click the “WP-EZ Admin” link. This solution has worked to keep sites secure and server loads down. More on this here…
5) SEO Improvements – Last but not least, we announced 9 Improvements to Our SEO Services. If we already provide SEO services to your organization, you definitely want to read this. If we’re not yet helping you with search engine optimization, why not? Search engines are by far our biggest source of new clients. They could be your biggest source of new church visitors, new students or new customers.
We excited about the progress we’ve made this month and grateful for the opportunity to continue (or begin) serving you and your Christian organization.
