We’ve been talking all month about security, specifically website security, but I would be remiss if I didn’t take a moment to talk about our Ultimate Security
We live in world that seems full of scary threats.
Some of these threats like from hackers, identity thieves, and terrorists are difficult to understand, and our natural tendency is…
We fear what we do not understand. –Dan Brown
We also live in a world where news organizations stir up fear for ratings, politicians stir up fear to win elections, and companies stir up fear to sell products and services.
Every day we are told we are in grave danger from school shooters, illegal immigrants, white supremacists, Black Panthers, Islamic extremists, nationalists, globalists, global warming, nuclear war, economic collapse, and I could go on.
So, I want to take a moment to refocus and help you to
Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. -Colossians 3:2
Jesus is the ultimate security. There are many types of security that can only found in Him. Due to time and space constraints, I want to focus on just four.
4 Security Protections Found Only in Jesus
1) Provisional Security
We don’t need to worry about whether we will have enough, because God promises to provide, though it is certainly not always according to our plans or the way we would like it.
And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 4:19)
2) Relational Security
We don’t need to worry about being alone or unloved, because God promises to always be with us.
I am with you always, to the very end of the age. -Matthew 28:20
3) Hopeful Security
We can endure, remain hopeful, and even praise God in the worst of circumstances because know that God loves us and can bring good out of them.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose. –Romans 8:28
4) Eternal Security
Regardless of what happens or how long we have in this world, we know that through Jesus our eternity is secure.
We should praise God because when we believed, He secured us in Christ with the seal and pledge of the Holy Spirit. -Ephesians 1:13
For your church websites and website security, we hope you’ll look to OurChurch.Com but for everything else, look to Jesus.
