OurChurch.Com is based in the Tampa, FL area. With Irma heading our way, I want to address the hurricane’s impact on our operations and our ability to serve you over the coming days and weeks.
1) Irma will not affect website or email access. Our data center and all our servers are actually in Michigan.
2) Irma will not affect help desk, email, phone and chat support. Our amazing support team is spread out across the US and the world. They will be available Monday and beyond to serve you as they usually do.
3) Paul and Mark may not be available. Mark and I (Paul) do live in the Tampa area. While we are well prepared, we are expecting wide-spread power outages. News reports indicate a half million people in the Miami area are already without power as of 9 AM this morning. If there are widespread power outages, it could be days or longer before we have power. If you are working directly with Mark or I on a custom designed website, SEO, WP-EZ 2.0 beta testing or anything else, we may not be able to get back to you for a while.
4) We are going to delay the launch of the EZ Sermon Manager. We previously announced it would be launched Tue Sept 12, but we’ve decided after we have a chance to assess the impact of Irma, we’ll announce a new launch date.
We appreciate your prayers. We know that God is with us and all of our fellow Floridians. He will bring us through this and use even something like this for his purposes.
If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.

Update: We thank God that we came through Irma fine. My home was without power for a couple of days, but it has now been restored.
