Today, I have a simple question for you:

We’ve been blogging advice about search engine optimization for more than a decade.  Chances are, this is not the first SEO tips article / email you’ve read.

Here’s the Truth about SEO Tips

Sometimes all we need is a little advice and we’re off and running from there.  Last year my clothes dryer stopped working.  I read some articles online, watched a video, and was able to diagnose that the fuse in my dryer had blown, bought a new one for a few bucks and installed it myself.

On the other hand, a while ago the heat pump part of my energy-efficient water heater stopped working.  I read some articles online, ordered a new part, took the cover off and couldn’t install the part myself.  Months later it’s still not fixed.  Don’t worry the conventional components still work so my family has hot water.  But the truth is, I’m stuck.  I don’t have the tools or know-how to do the job, and if I’m honest with myself, I have to admit I’ve been stalling on getting the help of a professional.

Which of these situations describes your search marketing?
