As we approach the end of the calendar year, we often times begin making plans, resolutions, or “to-do lists” of things we want to accomplish or change in the new year. This is a good time to do the same thing for your church website. Below are…
5 Web Design Changes to Consider for 2017:
- Mobile Friendly: If your church website is not mobile friendly (works well on mobile phones), you are way behind the curve and need to make a change. If you are not sure if it is or not, enter your website’s url here.
- New Church Website Design: Have you had the same website design for 3, 5, or 7+ years? If so, it is time to look into a new design. There have been so many improvements and developments in web design in the past few years, your site would benefit from a new design.
- New Homepage Images: Has your homepage had the same images for the past year? If so, it is time for new images.
- Blog: Want to get better interaction on your website and improve your Google search rankings? Start a blog! It can be a simple as adding weekly sermon notes to the blog, then responding to people’s comments and questions. While doing that, you can target keywords to attract more people from the search engines.
- Links To Review Sites: Another great way to spread the word about your church and improve your rankings in the search engines is to create review pages in Google or yelp. This allows members post reviews and rave about how great your church is. Also, for every positive review your church has, it helps it more in the search engines.
No matter how good or bad your website may be, you should always be thinking about how you can improve it and bring more people to it.
