We made a number of improvements to Christian Web Trends this morning. Before you read the list below take a look and see how many of the 7 changes you can name…
Here’s what we’ve done:
- Upgraded to WordPress 2.7.1
- Added the TweetMeme button so you can tweet blog posts with 1 click.
- Removed the blog sub-menu from the left sidebar.
- Added the Collapsible Archive plugin, which cut down the amount of space the archive links take up in the right sidebar.
- Deleted about half the categories, which cut down the amount of space the category links take up in the right side bar.
- Removed the Cluster Maps map graphic from the right sidebar
- Removed the Technorati profile link from the right sidebar
How many could you name before looking at the list?
If you run into any problems as a result of these changes, please let us know by posting a comment. We’re already aware that the “Email This Post” plugin is not working and the TweetMeme button is not showing up when you view the full post. Working on those things.
We’ve got more improvements coming soon that will make this blog more social.
What do you think of the changes? What other improvements do you think we should make?

Thanks John.
great stuff paul!
I like the blog! However I actually prefer to read in my RSS (Google Reader). Can you PLEASE change your feed settings to publish FULL posts instead of summaries? Thanks.
Greg, thanks for your feedback. We’ll give it some thought.
