MELODY'S NOTES
![]() ![]() Hebrews 10:11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:12 But this man [Jesus], after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; Hebrews 10:18 Now where remission of these [sins] is, there is no more offering [sacrifices] for sin. "Jesus offered ONE sacrifice, according to this Scripture. One sacrifice for sins FOREVER. No further sacrifice is needed! Then He SAT DOWN ON THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD. Jesus is a priest in the order of Melchezedek, the PERFECT priest. He ooffered the PERFECT sacrifice, Himself, in atonement for the sin of all mankind -- forever. Jesus sat down at the right hand of the Father. Why? Because His work was FINISHED. Priests in the Old Testament Temple were NOT allowed to sit down during their Temple work. There were no seats available in there. Why? Because their work was NEVER finished. They could never offer the perfect sacrifice for sin forever! Jesus not only offered the perfect sacrifice for sins FOREVER, He also sat down at the right hand of the Father, because His work was finished. IS THE MASS THE REAL SACRIFICE OF CHRIST? CATHOLIC BIBLE VERSES FOR COMPARISON In the which will, we are sanctified by the oblation of the body of Jesus Christ once. And every priest indeed standeth daily ministering and often offering the same sacrifices which can never take away sins. But this man, offering one sacrifice for sins, forever sitteth on the right hand of God, [see where the comma is? BEFORE forever? instead of AFTER forever? Really changes the meaning of that sentence.] (Hebrews 10:10-12 Douay-Rheims Bible) 18 Now, where there is a remission of these, there is no more an oblation for sin. (Hebrews 10:18 DH) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ BUT...read these salvation Scriptures for comparison... For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23KJV) For all have sinned and do need the glory of God. (Romans 3:23 DOUAY-RHIEMS) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For the wages of sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23 KJV) For the wages of sin is death. But the grace of God, life everlasting in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23 DH) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:" (Ephesians 2:8 KJV) For by grace you are saved through faith: and that not of yourselves, for it is the gift of God. (Ephesians 2:8 DH) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For God so loved the world (YOU), that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever (YOU) believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16 KJV) For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son: that whosoever believeth in him may not perish, but may have life everlasting. (John 3:16 DH) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6 KJV) Jesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me. (John 14:6 DH) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "... if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 KJV) For if thou confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thy heart that God hath raised him up from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For, with the heart, we believe unto justice: but, with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10:9-10 DH) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time." (1 Timothy 2:5-6 KJV) For there is one God: and one mediator of God and men, the man Christ Jesus: Who gave himself a redemption for all, a testimony in due times. (1 Timothy 2:5-6 DH) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ None of these Scriptures - in either Bible - state that one must believe that salvation comes through Holy Mother - the Roman Catholic Church; or through sacraments; nor through believing that Mary was forever an immaculate virgin; nor through believing that Mary was assumed body and soul into Heaven. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *I think it's vitally important to share with Roman Catholics that I'm NOT attacking THEM personally, and that I love them, and that's why I speak the truth in love. I am sharing with them the fallacy of the doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church, not attacking them." *I completely agree. We must surely share with Roman Catholics that we love them and want to see them as brothers and sisters in Christ, that we're not ATTACKING them personally, but that we do dispute the doctrines of the church. We must speak the truth in love. We must share the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. They have no idea what hours of earnest and anguished prayer we have spent on our knees in their behalf - for them to see the truth, for the Lord to lift the blinders off their eyes. Rande Snyder ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Some Helpful Links She Has Shared With Us: TESTIMONIES & ARTICLES A ROMAN "MIRACLE" (Taken from Mystery Babylon by Ralph Woodrow) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Melody has a ministry dedicated to Christian women who are married to unsaved men. The name of this ministry is "Won Without A Word" or "WWAW": WON WITHOUT A WORD (†This will be useful if you're a saved woman married to man who practices Catholicism.) ****************** †So far, I have been unsuccesful in finding a ministry that is focused strictly on saved men married to unsaved wives, but this link seems to offer a lot of possibilities. MEN MENTORING MEN Disclaimer: I have noticed that they have links to "Promise Keepers" and Billy Graham Ministries -- both of which are Ecumenical in nature and scope. However, there are many other wonderful links to minister to men in many important arenas. She also has created a site for wayward children. These are our own children who have left the straight and narrow and walk in the ways of the world: SAVE OUR CHILDREN Melody's Salvation Page: SALVATION Thanks and God bless you Melody! ![]() |
