The Catherine B. Curtis Educational Scholarship Fund
On May 26, 2002, two scholarship awards were presented to the parents of the recipients in their absence. Total amount of the awards was $750.00
For the calendar year 2003, one scholarhip award was made in the amount of $500. Our total awards to-date have been $1250.00
We are happy to anounce that three scholarship awards were made totaling $1500 for the year 2004. Total awards made to-date are $2750.
For the year 2005 two scholarship awards were made in the amount of $750 to two of our students. Total awards amount for the combined years are $3500.
In November 2006, one scholarship award was made to one graduating student in the amount of $500. Total awards amount to-date for all combined years has been $4000.
Our thanks to God for His great faithfulness to move on the hearts of His people for their generosity in supporting our students. We believe God's Word that "two get a better return than one..."
Each applicant must fulfill the follwing criteria:
Have a mininum 2.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale;
Acceptance to an accredited 2 or 4 year insitution or a Technical School; a signed statement of intent to attend an institution; a co-laborer in Christ Church in Waldorf, Maryland.
