it is so amazing to me...
this cross i have had to carry is so heavy
yet...at the same time it has gotten lighter over the years.
His presence has a way of doing that in one’s life...
His light...with more precision than that of a surgeons laser scalpel...
can cut through the diseased, dying, and dead issues burried within
but only if and when we will allow Him access.
i have tried...though not always acheived...to bare my soul to Him
for He sees it anyway.
He sees the things i cannot see, and the things i cannot, or maybe...will not... face
He will reveal them, heal them, and sometime just remove them
if i will just open up to His perfect love, mercy, and unfailing, amazing grace.
like i said, my cross is heavy, yet it isn’t at the same time
for i am yoked to Him and His burden is light, and He helps me carry mine.
He removes the past and discards it for He wants to deal with the now and today of my life
He is so big He lives in the past, the present, and the future...
everywhere at once,
but i can only occupy today
so i can only carry my cross...today.
it may be a heavy cross to bear, yet it is lighter because of Him...
and because i only have to carry it one day at a time.
and for me, that makes it do-able.

God became a man...
to understand humanity
infinite became finite...spirit became flesh, bone, and blood.
God touched me...to be touched by me...
to feel...to understand...
to know...and be known...by me!
God left His comfort zone
to supply the way for me...to enter His.
God came not in condemnation...
but to offer an invitation...
to a better way...a higher way...
that i could not walk, know, or see...
because it was beyond recognition for me.
God offered Himself to me...
His heart, His life, His very blood...
His mercy, His grace, His love in a flood...for me!
God cared enough to break my bonds and set me free!
God paid the price by personal sacrifice...
it cost me nothing, yet Him His all!
now i pay the price by personal sacrifice...
it costs me everything, to live out His call!
the Master became a servant...
so i can be a servant of the Master.
if i am worthy of my hire i must walk the same road.
and endure to journeys end.
where...
He and i, face to face will meet...
and i will sit in His glorious presence so sweet...
for all eternity!

dependency everyday
i am a Christian, a follower of Christ Jesus...
the Anointed One, the Messiah, the Son of God and Savior of all men.
i believe in Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith,
the One that gives me strength and laid His life down for me...
the One that removed the scales of darkness from my heart, mind, and eyes, that i may see.
i believe in Him fully, the living Word of God, as i believe in the written Word...the Holy Bible,
i believe in the full gospel, from cover to cover, written by men, inspired by God.
i am a Christian...because...i follow Christ...
i believe in Christ, have accepted His sacrifice for my redemption, and live according to His Word.
He is my God and i am one of His very own.
to be His is to believe in Him and His holy Word...totally!
to be His is to accept Him and His holy Word...totally!
to be His is to be obedient to Him and His holy Word...totally!
He is God or He is not...He is truth or He is not...He is worthy or He is not!
if Christ is all He says He is then He deserves us to bow to His Word, His will, and His way
but if you cannot believe Him completely, turn your back and walk away...today
for to say you walk with Christ, but do not believe and trust Him with all your heart
is to live with the enemy’s judas spirit abiding inside, slowly destroying you part by part.
with God it is hot or cold, for or against, there just isn’t a place for the lukewarm.
You cannot share the table and cup of God and the devil, it is in God’s camp or out...
believe it all or not at all, alive to Christ in trust to Him, or dead to God through fleshly doubt.
you just can’t live in belief and disbelief, you cannot have it both ways my friend...
two cannot walk together unless they are in agreement, you must overcome to win Christ in the end.
God is not a hobby or a pet that you can keep and treat any way that you may please...
who is man to dis-honor or de-glorify God? what would you want to attach, or reduce Christ to?
dare to take Him at His Word, and dare to trust and obey the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit...
dare to live life in Christ, hidden in the Father, in the fulness of the Holy Spirit and the Word.
for not to believe and live what God has to say, is to actually follow after satan’s fallen way.
but remember that there is no degree to belief in God, you either believe it all, or you don’t...
no matter how hard you may try to get it all to work out your way, it just won’t.
to call yourself by Christ’s name and not live it out is just inane...
for it will surely profit you nothing and you will have lived your life totally in vain.
as the Word says...choose you this day who you will serve...
once your choice is made for Christ, follow Him fully and never swerve...
