HOLY. (A brief description)Our relationship with our lord.
Holy is the Lord, yes the the Lord is Holy. To be holy is not to conform to the ways of the world, both in our daily actions and even thoughts, but to set out ways of thinking, and abiding by, in the ways of which our lord does. Set your mind, Body and spirit on the Lord and you will become more and more holy in ever thing you do. This is a learning process. We must be careful that we do not full into the trap that thinking “ ive got my tape recorder, sword (bible), briefcase and flash suit on and I can quote this and that out of the bible so therefore I’m holy”. The is nothing wrong with having these things or ability’s but its not that that brings holiness into our lives. Holiness will bring about Joy, peace, and fruitfulness into your life. Holy means belonging, devoted to God free from sin, divine, thus does not mean we as Christians never sin but we do have freedom from sin. Holyness is to do with our relationship with our lord.As being Born again the Lord lives within us, we are a new creation,The lord is Holy, so therefore we have holyness within, we do not have to strive to be holy.Through the word of God we have Growth/ maturity and learn the use of Holyness everyday. We are prepared, to reflect the Lord from us.
One of the ten commandments is that we must keep the Sabbath day Holy thus means a devoted day, a devoted day off no unnecessary work, to worship and fellowship with our Lord. We have set aside Sunday for this because it is yet to be proven that Sunday wasn’t the Lords Sabbath, the first day of the week.The Sabbath was on a day but is not a day.We can Honour the Sabbath any day of the week but can not declare the Sabbath day to be everyday.We can not change the Sabbath for a matter of our conveneince. Let me ask you, it is said the Roman cathlics changed the sabbath day. But are you a Roman cathlic or a cathlic?.This sees to me they changed it for a matter of own earthly convenience.Is that therefor a Godly change.
Question - Ask yourself at what stage does a normal conversation or discusion turn into Gossip.? Personaly I think many christians confuse themselves as to when Gosip is actually Gossip.
Question - Is it wright to be a door mat or the pins as in ten pin bowling and when this happens what do you do ? John bevere sees NO. Yes you can forgive but what next? sometimes tos it in , hand over and leave it to God to deal with.? yes the is one of these in most churches, i have seen it and expereneced it.
Question - what really is this revival business ?
Personaly id say as a example its when the majority of a town has a turn around and relises that Disater wont happen if your place of employment doors open only 5-6 days a week. Disater wont happen if the employment place was only open 38hours a week. Disater wont happen if you cut back your employment place doors open to apreciate the creation of the world and family and friends and the things of God. This is just a example. You can get revied in a church and place of worship but revile does not happen just at those places.
