Page 3 BOLDNESS / COMMUNION ![]() This time we look at the word BOLDNESS– to come boldly. Boldness does not nessarsarily mean, shouting or to be loud, although a shouting voice helps to be bold. If you don’t shout, thus does not mean you don’t have boldness. To come boldly means to come without a felling of holding back and / or worry. Boldness does not necessarily mean to come out in machine gun prayer (or preaching) but to pray with belief, faith, and confidence. Boldly in Scripture basically means speaking out God’s word. The word of God does teach us on simplicity with prayer. We need to speak out with the authority/ firmness and strength given to us from our lord (I would also say with a mind of no compromise even that we now the is no compromise to the word of God.). Speaking out not under your own strength but allowing yourself to be under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It does not indicate the was the form of bold physical action along with whatever was spoke. By this I do not mean that shouting or accompanying bold speech with boldly action is of no good but neither which way is what takes favour in Gods eyes. The is a song called shout to the lord but we also need quiet times(incl prayer) with our Lord, The boldness we are talking about comes from within us. COMMUNION = A form of communication. Why do we have someone to give a communion message? Answer –you could say because Jesus gave a message before He asked or conducted his deciples to eat and drink at the Last supper known as communion. So we do likewise. Jesus also spoke in parables to get some messages across. We don’t do that, but can use testimonial type story and or biblical script to get a message across. This is in accordance to what, and the direction of the communication Jesus would have us say.It is not preeching or the opertunity to do so. You Could also say the chosen person to give a communion message is like a mediator to make it easier for us to hear from our Lord. Although as Christians we do have a direct line (kind of like A phone line) to our lord, we sometimes have difficulty using It, so we can choose to listen to this kind of mediator with our Focus on not them but our lord. You do not nessarsarily have to be a Bible study class student, Attend a homegroup, Preacher, Pastor, Teacher, or as such, or have any specific biblical gifting, (stressing the word specific) but you will more than likely have at least one God given gifting to be chosen to lead The congregation in communion. But Nor do you have to have spent x amount of time with a Pastor / Minister, even as there personal helper. It is God that will choose you in his time, to be this vehicle for him. We know it is not correct To ask if we can lead communion, Just believe God, ask God and the is a good chance of being chosen, however, often God will use the Pastor To choose you.I believe God has given me mesages of communion and will allow me to deliver them at a chosen time. This is why we need to support in prayer our Pastors to be sensitive to the spirit of God as so he can act in the Direction of what God desires. This does not explain exactly or the whole meaning of what communion is, but in brief it is A symbolic act for us for our remembrance or recognition of what Jesus did for us as well as opportunity for intimate communication with Our lord both personally and corporately. This is one of my favorite descriptions of communion i found in a magazine Communion is your truest expression of faith and an intimate form of worship. It is a celebration of new life in christ, and an acceptance of his healing, nourishing power in your life. It is also a proclamation to the devil that he is deafeated... that he no longer has an open door to bring mental, physical or spiritual sickness into your body. Communion is much more than simply recieving the elemants of juice and bread. When we partake of bread and Cup, we proclaim our worthiness--- accepting the righteousness of God which is in Christ Jesus. Unfortunatly , many people do not really understand the spiritual impact communion can have in there lives. Communion announces to the devil that your a winner... that he cant defeat you... that he is a vanquished foe. Through communion . YOU are proclaming to the devil that you have power over him. The announcment also declares that your body belongs to Jesus becouse he shed his blood, died for you, and rose again. It shouts to the devil, and to the world, that you have made a choice to accept the life that Jesus offers... and the healing that resides within him. Jesus took your iniquitys upon himself and destroyed them. ![]()
