Bishop John T. Smith has an anointed and unique ministry that combines preaching and teaching to both educate and inspire those who hear his God Inspired messages. His intense desire for in-depth biblical and spiritual truths combined with his ministerial experience makes him one of the most dynamic and powerful preachers of our time.
Being instructed and tutored by Great Preachers, Teachers and Theologians, Bishop Smith has learned the value of commitment, hard work and discipline and their relationship to the call of God and the study of his word. Bishop Smith was rescued by God in 1979 and has been walking consistently with the Lord as a testimony that God can find and deliver you no matter where you are.
Bishop John T. Smith was called to the ministry in 1981, Ordained in 1994 and elevated to the office of Bishop in 2002. His determination, tenacity and dedication to the ministry are demonstrated in his relentless attempt to win souls to the kingdom.
Bishop Smith has served as Pastor, Teacher, Evangelist, Sunday School Superintendent, Youth Ministry Director, Choir Director, Church Administrator, and Hermeneutics Instructor. John T. Smith, Pastor, Teacher, Evangelist is currently received his Bachelors in Biblical Theology from Buelah Bible College and Seminary and has studied at Andersonville Theological Seminary, Indiana State University, Aenon Bible College and Palomar College. His desire is to see souls healed and delivered. His intense love for the word of God combined with a deep hunger for correct interpretation, led him to Aenon Bible College where he studied Hermeneutics, Homiletics, Theology and Old and New Testament Surveys.
Bishop John T. Smith, formerly the founding Senior Pastor at Victory Tabernacle Family Center, Vista Ca, currently serves as the Founding Senior Pastor of Ambassadors for Christ Church, Indianapolis, IN
Bishop Smith travels across the country teaching, preaching, conducting seminars, workshops, ministerial and leadership training.
Bishop Smith provides leadership in the community serving in various capacities to improve the quality of life for young people, ex-offenders and those who are struggling to survive.
Bishop Smith is currently a Community Supervision Manager with Marion County Community Corrections and resides in Indianapolis with his daughters Dezerae and Jayla. Bishop looks forward to serving Churches, Communities and Families in Indianapolis and across the country.
