Biography
On Feb. 17th 1997 the Lord laid on our hearts we were to sing or Him. Through this whole transition time, we never had to explain what we were feeling to one another. Any time one of us would start to tell the other where we felt the Lord was leading, the other already knew. It has been wonderful to watch the Lord working the same in both of us. A true miracle.
Even though the love for music was always inside us, we were never experienced enough to even consider seriously singing gospel. All we knew was that the Lord had let us know this was what He wanted, so we trusted Him to make it work.
When praying for a name "New Wine" came up. With our last name being Wine, and we were definitely made new in His Spirit, what else could we do? The bible even tells us in Matt. 9:47 and Luke 5:37,38 how "new wine must be put into new wineskins and both are preserved." What a blessing.
We Have totally trusted in the Lord with this ministry and He has truly benn blessing it. Our first project "Thank You For The Miracles" came out in March 99. It just seemed to fit with how the Lord has taken control of our lives and the blessing He has given us. We have seen souls saved and lives changed through this ministry.
Our second project "For His Glory" came out in February of 2000. We give our Lord all the praise and glory for being able to tell others of Him. We pray there will be a message somewhere for those whom are seeking, but don't quite know what they're after. He is the Truth, the Light, and the Way.
Greg and I want to serve the Lord and go where He wants us to go. We pray that he'll use this ministry to further His kingdom. We feel very blessed to have an outreach that can touch so many. Psalm 30:12 says, "to the end that my glory may sing praise to thee and not be silent, O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee forever".
A while back we saw a sign that read, "God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called".
