I was listening to WYCB on Nov. 19, 2004 and heard Pastor Parker speak of his called to ministry. I was caught up in his relating of how your church is waiting to build a new church due to a fire at the old one. I was particular interested in why the city is taking so long to give you a permit to build. I decided that when I got to work, I would try to find out more about you and offer you my prayers and send a small donation towards the building of your new church home. It's not much, but I felt the need to do something. I am a member of the Isle of Patmos Baptist Church, located at 12th and Rhode Island Avenue.
