Mission Statement
1) 2 Corinthians 10:3-6..."For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.) Casting down imaginations,
and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; and having
in readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled."
We at S.W.A.T. For Youths Ministries, feel it is essential for todays young Christian to first understand the supernatural battle that we are in, and how to gain victory in the battle for their soul...It is a WAR that rages constantly between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Evil...Satan knows that he is defeated, however until the day that he is judged and condemned to "The Lake Of Fire", he will WAR for dominion over our souls...
2) TODAYS YOUTH NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS NO MIDDLE GROUND...NO WALKING THE FENCE...EITHER WE ARE FOR GOD OR AGAINST HIM...IF WE ARE AGAINST HIM WE ARE CONDEMNED (read Matthew 6:24 and Luke 16:13...Jesus teaches us in John 3:16-21, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth light, neither cometh to the light,lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light,that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." Also, in Revelation 3:15-16, Jesus reveals to John in his revelation to be passed on to us that, "I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth."
So, it is this Ministry's belief that Todays Youth need A Revival... A Baptism of Fire... In other Words it's time to "Kick the tires and Light the Fires", in the Name and Power of Jesus. We need to be burning Hot for HIM, not from condemnation. It's time we kicked in the Holy Spirit Afterburners...
3) The third principal of Focus is to Aid Todays Youth in
strengthening their Armor, and their shields of faith...in order to quench the firey darts of our adversary...TODAYS YOUTH NEED TO LEARN TO STAND IN THE AWESOME CONFIDENCE AND POWER OF GOD ALMIGHTY... THEY NEED TO KNOW WHAT REAL POWER, CONFIDENCE, LOVE,GRACE AND ACCEPTANCE IS ALL ABOUT...
4) The fourth principal is to prepare TODAYS YOUTH for the Great Commission, that we are all called to as believers. That is to SPREAD THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST...TO ALL THE NATIONS...TO STAND AND WIN THE BATTLE OVER SATANS STRUGGLE FOR THE SOUL... Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
5) To reach out to the Lost and Wayward Youth who are seeking Love, Acceptance, Grace, Forgiveness, Healing, Confidence, and Power... For all of these attributes can be found in Jesus Christ. For in HIM, we have all that we need... For there has never been a broken heart or Life he could not mend, and there has never been a time that he would turn his back on those who seek truth, forgiveness, and righteousness...
It is the Mission of this Ministry to establish a National Youth Movement that is dedicated to MARCHING INTO THE ENEMY'S CAMP AND TAKING BACK WHAT WAS STOLEN FROM US AS A PEOPLE OF GOD, AS HIS CHOSEN GENERATION... THROUGH PRAYER, SUPPLICATION, SCRIPTURAL STUDIES, AND WITNESSING... WE WILL PRESS IN AND ONWARD TO THE GOAL THAT CHRIST HAS SET BEFORE US... WE CLAIM IT IN JESUS NAME....
