Is There Life Before Birth?
![]() Well, if you want to believe our lawmakers, they allow abortion, but, a person who shoots a pregnant woman, and kills her unborn child, can be charged with murder! Sounds to me like they don't know. That is a contradiction! It's really very simple. In Jeremiah 1:5, God says, "Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." God KNEW Jeremiah even before he was born! He had a soul. He was ALIVE! But, if that isn't enough for you, here are some biological facts for you. Life begins when a sperm and egg meet. At 8 weeks, the baby is active, and growing, the heart is beating. At 10 weeks, little hands and feet are perfectly formed. The baby's little hand could curl around and object in the palm of it's hand. At 12 weeks, a baby can swallow, squint it's eyes, and "swim" in the amniotic fluid! By four months, the baby is six inches long, and weighs about 1/2 pound. The baby has eyelashes, and fine hair on it's little head. It can hear sounds, and can even hear it's Mom's voice, as well as outside sounds. The baby can hear music playing. It has been proven that soft classical music will calm the baby, and loud music will agitate the baby. The baby spends it's days awake, sleeping, sucking it's thumb, and turning "sumersaults". It can curl it's little fists and fan it's little toes. Baby is moving vigorously, and kicking. By month 5, Baby is about 12 inches long and weighs close to a pound. It's skin is transparent, and it's blood vessels look like they are on the surface. It's fingernails grow very fast, and it can scratch itself. You will be able to feel the baby kicking, punching, and maybe even distinguish elbows and feet by placing a hand on your belly! Baby has fully developed vocal cords, and can cry, but there is no sound, because there is no air. All of it's life support is through the umbilicle cord. By month 7, I am an awake human being. My brain is developing very rapidly now. I lead an active life, and am even capable of learning! Baby's weight is about 3 pounds,is starting to get fat on it's body, which makes the skin look smoother. Baby's eye teeth are present, eyelids now open and close, and it can look around! Baby now has quite a grip. Mom can now feel when Baby has the hiccups. By 8 months, Baby is quite cramped in Mom's uterus. It wakes up in a pattern, and can sense the difference between light and darkness through Mom's abdomen. Baby has tastebuds, and prefers sweet to sour, it smiles, frowns, yawns, swallows, ans sucks it's thumb. It now weighs about 4 pounds. By month 9,Baby is ready for a birthday! It is Baby, and not Mom who decides when it's time to make the grand entrance, and upon it's birth will probably weigh between 7 and 8 pounds. Though this is the first time anyone has seen Baby outside of the womb, it's life started nine months ago. If you have any doubts, PLEASE contact me. Don't do something that you will regret for the rest of your life. The following poem was written by Pollyanna Young. She wrote the poem when her then pregnant daughter told her that her best friend had made the choice to abort her own child. We never know the ramifications our choices have on the lives of others. “My Best Friend” I started hearing sounds today, and oh the news I heard… It sounded like my momma’s voice, saying lots of words. I hear my mommy laughing and then a whisper too, I gently pulled upon my chord, reminding her to chew. I liked what she was feeding me, sending pizza down, I can not wait to see my house, in my little town. I’m growing every moment, today it was my ears… I hear another talking, so I leaned my head real near. I did not know this lady, but mommy called her friend, I sensed a little sadness, even though she tried to pretend. I think my mommy knows her, from the beginning of her life, Before she knew my daddy, and became his lil’ wife. It must be nice to have a friend that you can even share, Your thoughts and dreams and secrets to, when others you don’t dare. I hear the words their saying, though I don’t know what they mean, Her friend is so excited, she’s about to be eighteen. That seems to be a good thing, to be an exciting age, And one more thing her friend did share, she also is engaged. She told my mommy everything, and about the baby too, She found out just today, the day my best friends’ due. And then a time of silence, I didn’t hear a voice, Until her friend said the word, that sounded just like “choice”. I really was excited, to meet my own best friend, I didn’t even know it then, it soon would be coming to an end. I noticed a change in mommy, because her belly tightened, That word had so much power; it seemed to make her frightened. I heard it when they began to talk, about the many options, My mommy tried to talk her into, a word they called “adoption”. Her friend just would not hear it, answers mommy tried to find, “There’s nothing more to talk about, I’ve already made up my mind.” I felt the utter sadness, that crept from outside in, I knew I’d never meet the one, that I would call “best friend.” Pollyanna Young ![]()
