RESULTS OF WALKING IN THE SPIRIT’S ANOINTING
The greatest blessing of our learning to walk in the anointing of the Spirit will be our deepening friendship with God. In learning to know the Holy Spirit, that blessed Third Person of the Godhead, we will come into a intimate relationship with God that will satisfy our hearts and fulfill the eternal purpose of God in us.

RESULTS OF WALKING IN THE SPIRIT’S ANOINTING

God never tells us to do something with out a good reason. Everything that He commands us to do is for our ultimate good. He doesn’t make rules to be hard on us. They are to deliver us from destruction, to make life easier for us, and to allow us to live a life that is victorious over sin. He gave the Ten Commandments as an expression of His loving nature, to teach us how to relate to Him and to our fellow man.

This is how we can receive His blessings. There are three other things that the Spirit’s anointing does for us.

1) Deliverance from sin: “But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life” Rom. 6:22
Walking in the anointing of the Holy Spirit declares our freedom from the law of sin and death. He taught that as we become servants to God, we have fruit unto holiness, and the end will be everlasting life in heaven with God the Father.

2) Peace: The second blessing of walking in the Spirit is that we will experience a delightful serenity, tranquility, and steadfastness. God’s wonderful intention for His people is that they walk in peace, free from the tyranny of fleshly drives and impulses. There is a rest promised for the people of God that we will not find until we learn to live in the Spirit, As the Scriptures declare, “There remained therefore a rest to the people of God” Heb. 4:9
Walking in the Spirit will be a haven to us. We will experience the peace of God and not be subject to ups and downs, becoming a victim of circumstances or of our own emotions. His rest gives us a stability in the face of every life situation.

3) God’s providences: The third blessing that comes as a result of walking in the Spirit is the ability to meet the providences of God as they come to us with victory in our hearts. A providence is something that God chooses for us and promotes, although we may not always perceive it as something positive. We will be able to maintain perfect harmony between our inward disposition and His outward leadings or providences when we are walking in the Spirit. Though we may be led through a difficult situation, our inside responses will be in harmony with it; we will not be disturbed. Of course, God doesn’t bring to us the difficulties that are a result of sin. God doesn’t promote divorce or other sinful behavior, for example ( though we must remember that God loves the sinner and forgives) However, there are difficulties in our lives that God in His providence has permitted to cross our pathway for our ultimate good. Living in such a way that the providences of God can come into our lives always results in blessing.

Simon the priest in the temple had a job of only filling the lamps with oil he could have been discouraged but he was not and God blessed him.
When the evangelist Philip obeyed the instructions of the Holy Spirit to go to a desert, he met the Ethiopian eunuch who needed to know how to get saved (Acts 8)
Because Philip obeyed a whole nation received the gospel on the providence of God. There are many other scriptures in the Bible as well of people who walked in obedience and received the providences of God.

If we don’t walk in the Spirit, we too will miss the providences of God for the important decisions of life. I believe that there would be less divorcees if we all would allow God to direct our decision not just choose the one we feel is right. I believe that all decisions in our lives should be directed by God. The little child said no I will do it myself….but it not always works out good. I know that I have made decisions that would have been much better back in my past that if I allowed God to show me what to do I would have been much better off. I feel that each of us here have had the similar thing happen in your lives also. This is why God called me to teach on the Holy Spirit and this time to bring to you that you should all Walk in the Anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Walking in the Spirit will bring great blessings to every life that surrenders to HIM.
So these are to good providences that we will receive as we surrender to God and obey the Holy Spirit and most of all to choose to WALK IN THE ANOINTING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

The greatest blessing of our learning to walk in the anointing of the Spirit will be our deepening friendship with God. In learning to know the Holy Spirit, that blessed Third Person of the Godhead, we will come into intimate relationship with God that will satisfy our hearts and fulfill the eternal purpose of God in us.

I pray that this will bless you and help you to understand the Third Person of the Godhead, the Holy Spirit.

May God's face shine on you; and may He turn toward you and give you peace.

God bless, love Barbara
