GENESIS.......REVELATIONS
THE FIRST AND THE LAST

The Word “Bible” comes from the Greek word (Biblos.) Which means “book”. The Bible is God's holy word. Together all these books tell the story of God's wonderful love for us. The Bible teaches us how to live the way God wants us to live. The Bible is a complete library of God’s messages. The Bible contains sixty-six Books,His Word to all humanity written by those He chose to write his message for all to know. The Bible was written over a time of thousands of years by more than onee person. As a matter of fact it was written by thirty different men. Some of which were Moses, Ezra, David,Solomon, Jeremiah, Matthew, Mark, Luke,John, Peter, James and the apostle Paul.

Genesis, the first book written by Moses; is the very first book of the Bible and Revelation written by John who was a witness to the word of God and by the testimony of Jesus Christ. This book also states who ever reads it they will be blessed. It is a book of Prophecy. Now to compare the two.

Revelation the 21st chapter, John reveals a new heaven and earth, In reading it, we can not help but look back to the beginnings of the world in Genesis. The Bible wasLet us begin our study and compare the two.

GENESIS

God creates the world

The devil introduces sin into the world.

All humanity falls into sin

The world is now subjected to curse.

People are separate from God

People shed many tears and have much sorrow

People are not allowed to go near the tree of life

Death enters the world

The languages of humanity are confused and the
People are scattered every where.

REVELATION

God creates a new heaven and earth

The devil is defeated and destroyed; sin is done away with
God restores people to their original sinlessness

The curse is removed.

People live with God forever

God wipes away every tear and sorrows are removed.

People may eat freely from the tree of life.

Death is done away with and people will live forever.

The peoples of the world are brought together before Christ and they will sing His praises together for ever.

God was manifested in the flesh
Justified in the Spirit
Seen by angels,
Preached among the Gentiles
Believed on in the world
Received up in glory.

Where are we today as far as the end times? By the looks of what is happening in the world today all around us it appears that the end in not that far away.

Because of Adam and Eve sin and sickness came into the world. It was not meant to be that way. God created a perfect Garden of Eden where everyone would of lived free of sin and sickness. A beautiful place where every one would of lived in harmony loving each other. No wars, bitterness hatred even the animals would have been no threat to humans nor them to the animals.

Sometimes you may make a promise and not keep it, but God can never break any of His promises.
As people live longer lives in this world they will begin to learn that God keeps every promise He ever made. His promise to us was, “ I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Our friends and families may fail us. Our bodies may fail us and get sick, and someday yes we will die. But we will be able to say, “Surely goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. ( Psalm 23:6) Every time we make a move goodness and mercy right there beside us always. This is God’s promise and He is not a man who should ever lie.

Through out the Bible God made promises one was to Abraham. God said He would give Abraham’s people all the land of Palestine. Abraham’s people still live there four thousands years later! That’s the longest time any nation has lived anywhere.

Than God made a great promise that all people who trusted in Abraham’s descendants would be blessed.
The descendant of Abraham was JESUS who was born two thousand years after Abraham lived. So God will bless you for ever if you trust in JESUS.

Some say that after the flood the environment changed and this is why. I believe that because of the sin that entered the world and what it brought on people this is why the age limit for the past years has been a average of 70 years old. Recently a man lived to be 113 years old. Now they are saying that the elderly are living longer making it hard for them to get by and poor health mentally as well as physically.

Before the flood, the patriarchs lived to be over 900, the oldest man who ever lived was Methuselah he lived to be 969 years old. Adam lived to be 930, Seth 912, Enosh 905, Enoch 365, Lamech 777.

Now after the flood Shem lived 600 years, Eber 464, Terah 205, Abraham lived to be 175, Isaac 180.
Jacob 147, Joseph 110. Why do you suppose the drop in the time lived as time went on? I find it interesting to see that the age of the women were not mentioned? Maybe next newsletter I will research the Women of the Bible and report on their life span.

God also makes promises for those who do not believe :His Word says;
Shortened life…Proverbs 10:27,Proverbs 28:7,Proverbs 11:20
Destruction… Proverbs 1:32, Proverbs 14:11.

I could go on and on but the one thing that I really want to make known to every one is that any day Jesus could come back for His church (the Christians-the saved-born again). If Jesus was to come back right this minute would you be sure with out a doubt that you are ready to go and be with him? We are human and we make mistakes all the time but each time if we admit it and ask for forgiveness He will forgive us. It is not easy to be a Christian it takes real men and women strong men and women to walk the walk of righteousness. But it is well worth it all.

John 3:3 talks about a very rich man named Nickodemus. He went to talk with Jesus and he asked Him how can one get into heaven. Jesus said, “ most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nickodemus said to Jesus, “ how can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mothers womb?” Jesus answered, “ Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he can not enter the kingdom of God. “ That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. ( when you see a capitol (S) in spirit it represents the Holy Spirit the Third Person of the Godhead)First we are born of the flesh and than when we are old enough to know right from wrong we are held accountable, we must make a decision to accept Jesus or not. We are all sinners because of Adam and Eve it is called,“ORIGINAL SIN” We all know when we do something that is not right we must come to Jesus and admit that we are a sinner, He already knows everything that we have ever done for nothing ever escapes Him, He see, hears and knows all things. He however has to hear us admit our sins and to ask Him to forgive us and when we do this we are “BORN AGAIN” made new just as if we had never ever sinned. Wouldn’t you like to have that for you and know that if you left planet earth this minute you would know with out a doubt that you would go to heaven.Or if Jesus would come right now the Rapture would you be raise up to meet Him in the air? Absent from the body present with the Lord.

John the disciple was allowed to see into heaven and write the book of Revelations so we could see how the end times were going to be. Jesus came to earth (God made flesh) so He could pay the price for our sins and we could be born again cleansed forgiven. “ For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” “ For He did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
“ He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God, JESUS.”
THE ROAD TO HEAVEN……….HOW TO BE SAVED

Romans 3:23 We are separated from God by sin. Everyone has sinned by disobeying God. We all fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 5:8 God has taken the first step in rescuing us. While we were still sinners, God showed His love toward us by sending His Son Jesus to die on a cross in our place.

Romans 6:23 Believe in Jesus’ death as the payment for your sins. God loved the world so much that He gave Jesus, His one and only Son, so that anybody who believes in Him will not really die, but will have everlasting life. Read John 3:16

Romans 10:9 Just ask Jesus to be your Savior now! If you mean it with all your heart, believing that God has raised Him (Jesus) from the dead, you will be saved.

DON’T BE LEFT BEHIND

Make your decision today to accept Jesus into your heart and life. Just pray this simple prayer.

Now remember you must really mean this with all your heart and believe that Jesus died on a cross and raised from death and rose to heaven and now sits at the right hand of God the Father.

Dear Jesus, I am a sinner, I am so sorry for the things that I have done. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins please forgive me, come into my heart and help me to be what you want me to be.
Thank You Jesus for forgiving me, making me a new person, white as snow, like I have never ever sinned and making me a child of God’s. Amen.

I pray that everyone who reads this will make the decision to invite Jesus into his/her heart and become a child of God. Let me know if you made this step in your life so I can rejoice with you. Maybe you have been born again but feel a need to renew your self with the Lord, If you feel you don’t know if you are ready or not than most likely you are not so pray the prayer and make sure…

Until next time:
May the Lord bless you and keep you;the Lord make his face shine on you;the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.

In Love
