Farm Pictures 03
Justin's 4-H Veterinary Science Group recently went to the Sharkarosa Exotic Wildlife Ranch in Pilot Point, Texas. They spent the day learning about the animals and some of the many different tasks that are associated with raising exotic critters. What a great time we all had, we hope you enjoy the pictures.

There were definitely no shortage of camels. They were really very friendly. Notice the white 2 hump camel in the middle. She is due to give birth sometime in March 2009. |

Justin got a big hug from a Black & White Ruffed Lemur. He must have thought Justin was gonna take him home because he sure hung on tight. |

An afternoon lecture from the Texas Parks & Wildlife department showed the group the benefits of protecting our natural resources and how important native wildlife is to our state. |

Scott & Sara are the Owners and Animal keepers at the Sharkarosa Wildlife Park. They spent the entire day with the group teaching them all sorts of interesting things about the animals they care for. |
