Things that I like about Life Recovery are:
Confidentiality, active listening to each person as they share, no interrupting! It is very supportive. We can talk about our part on the step of the night, or whatever is on our heart/mind. By being able to be completely honest about anything in our life is freeing & expansive. There is no small mindedness mentality which I believe allows us to be real. It’s so refreshing for a change! The group is friendly, we can have cuppa before & after the group, and a relaxed talk after if you want.
At times the groups had candles on; it often helps to “open up”. Beautiful music is played which is often nurturing, healing & releases pain. The 12 Step program flows great with Christian faith, I find it very enriching. I pray you do too! Kris
Jonathan you left Egypt, behind you are the 12 steps for those without hope or vision to walk out. The shared testimonies articulate the faith and actions of people embracing a walking relationship with GOD. The steps lead us to achieve the vision of Living Free. What Jonathan shows others is self discipline and persistence.

Wow a safe place to real and share your guts on the table without being judged. I am so thankful for this kind of space where you can be real. Unlike traditional 12step meetings you can feel God power healing you.
