The Solution to the Current Healthcare Problem

By Black Wolf

08/13/09

I don't think that I will get much argument when I say that this current healthcare plan should be scrapped, congress even rejected this plan for themselves, they would not touch this healthcare plan with the proverbial 12 foot stick. Come on people let's get real, congress thought this plan so important, they didn't even bother to read the one thousand plus pages.
Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee talks on the phone as a woman asks a question at a town hall event

Note Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee claims this video has been doctored. However, Fox News ran this video allday on 08/13/09

However, I have the solution to the problem. We just give, we the people the same healthcare plan that congress and the prez use themselves. What is good for the goose is likewise good for the gander. After all, we are all equal here, are we not? If however the congress chooses to shove some substandard healthcare plan down our throats they then obviously, consider themselves better, and above the commoners. Also in order to soften the cost to the taxpayers, we don't just give it away free, recipients pay their own premiums on a sliding
scale. Problem solved.

GM Bail-Out?

By Grayeagle

11/11/08

Davey Crockett
Quote

We have the right, as individuals, to give away as much of our own money as we please in charity; but as members of Congress we have no right so to appropriate a dollar of the public money.

After shiving the American taxpaying worker in the back in 05 by sending much of it's operations to India which hurt the American worker, and the American economy, they now want same American taxpaying worker to bail them out of hard times. Moving to India is their right it is their company they can do what they want with their company. But now they want the American taxpayer to give them $50 Billion to tide them over during these tough economic times, a mere three years later, they have absolutely no right to this money, So I say, Read my lips no new bail-outs.

These companies have not even been American companies
for thirty years or so being proud to be called multinationals, (so as to not have to be loyal to the American worker and justify their moves to third world countries, where they have free reign to exploit cheap labor) NOT American, matter of fact they are about as American as a pygmy headhunter in Madagascar. GM prefers India and China, while Ford has been moving much if not most of it's operations to Mexico, therefore let India and Mexico bail them out.

This is a problem that affects almost only the state of
Michigan, therefore let the state of Michigan bail them
out they can at least put up a significant portion of
the bail monies, as that state is operating on a
surplus of funds, according to Cafrman.com.

Florida's Big Bad Blow turns out to be a Big Bad Bust

By Al James

08/19/08

Hurricane Fay never did turn into a cat 1 Hurricane. Which resulted in mainstream media being horribly disappointed that they did not get to report on their hurricane, with body count.
I was watching a major news media outlet, said by some to be conservative, When I heard the anchor or whatever she is, GLEEFULLY promote an upcoming story about deadly hurricane Fay approaching Florida. This person sounded as if she was so happy to be reporting the impending death of much people, and did it all with a big smile on her face. I find this ghastly attitude to be horribly appalling. This super hype by the MSM seems to be typical of the majority of news outlets, matter of fact they have a saying in the news industry “If it bleeds it leads” which simply means the news with the most death and mayhem is their top story. Which all of this brings to mind this end times prophecy,
Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

It's tough all over out there
We here in St. Petersburg got nothing from this wimp of a storm, except maybe a half thimble full of rain, and maybe a couple of lawn chairs tipped over. The beaches got some pretty strong winds, but no damage that I know of.
I have sat through many a tropical storm before they are nothing, you get some rain maybe your power goes out for a few hours big deal.
Let me tell you this story this one will curl your hair. When I was about 18 years old Living on a farm in northern Illinois mid 1960's my best friend Larry and myself decided to got to the Stephenson county fair in Freeport Il we were having a real good time until the rain started no problem there until some wind came up soon they had us go inside a tent that is real sturdy and affords zero protection from strong winds, but at least we were not getting rained on. They told us to hold onto the tent posts so I guess their tent would not blow away. Well where I was standing under this tent there was a very large power line about six feet away from me, it was covered in water and sparking and arching up a storm at the coupling which obviously was not waterproofed, I am very lucky that I did not get electrocuted that night. I don't remember how long we stood under that tent but it seems like it was not that long. Nevertheless we survived that one. By the way as Larry and I were leaving the fair we noticed the ferris wheel laying on the ground. We had been hit by a tornado. The TV news confirmed it was a tornado the next day. This is just one of several incidents in my life where I was within an eyelash of dying, but saved from it by our Lord.
So that is why I dislike the media whipping up unwarranted hysteria concerning storms. If warranted as with Katrina then fine, but this Fay hysteria caused more problems than it is worth. And exactly what problems does it cause you ask?
Ramifications of unreasonable Media Hype of Tropical Storms and Other Low Level Storms

1 Hurts the tourist industry.

2 Hurts real-estate values, which are already severely damaged.

3 Retailers such as filling stations, grocers, lumber/home repair stores et. al. tend to price gouge. OBTW I don't mind if the retailers cancel sales or other special discount pricing, but price gouging is a violation of
Florida law and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent.

4 Oil industry sees a hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico that could destroy an oil rig, rationalizes that, as a good reason to raise price of crude oil. Thusly increasing their profits, which are already at record levels (also price gouging).

5 Folks panic. My neighbor saw two people during one of the big blows in 04 fighting over the last pack batteries at a local store.

6 Road Rage is heightened during this time as people think they must get to the stores to stock up, no matter what.
Thus putting the children with them at risk.

All this loss and damage is caused by unreasonable Media Hype minor storms.
H.L. Mencken quote
"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed, and thus clamorous to be led to safety, by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary".
Well yet again we have seen first hand the tomfoolery on the TV news concerning these hurricanes. These so called reporters are standing out in the middle of a very minor storm acting as if it were the end of the world. Are they actually trying to steal the the thunder away from us
dispensationalists, and pretribbers? We take a big media hit (they try to make us look like stooges) for this stand for the Lord.
Did you notice that these news reporters actually step out in front of flying debris so that when on camera they can jump out of the from way said flying debris to make the storm look worse, or lash them selves to a lamp post. These people disgust me. But at least they give me something to blog about. You ask what is their motive for all of this? I say, simply, ratings.
But yet again the media was disappointed that they did not get to report on a Mega storm with bodies floating in flooded streets of a major American city. Gustav turned to a mere cat 1 hurricane just prior to landfall, which by the way did not even hit in New Orleans, but rather 72
miles southwest, and then quickly downgraded to a tropical storm, the levees held and all is well in New Orleans, much to the chagrin of those who report the so called news. Matter of fact all did not go well with the evacuations nine died from being evacuated, while none died from the very minor storm called Gustav.
I know up close and real personal what wicked weather is (read my testimony above) these people don't have a clue that is why they disgust me. I live in a hurricane zone in St. Petersburg Florida but where I actually live about 2.5 miles away from the Gulf of Mexico I do not even have to evacuate, even if we get a direct hit by a cat 5 hurricane.
Now here's my thing if we were to face a tropical storm, Cat 1, 2, or 3 hurricane I will stay right in MY HOUSE nobody but, nobody has the right to tell me to get out of my house. Mobile homes and homes below sea level are another issue altogether, that is a life threatening situation. But a cat 4 or 5 hurricane I may evacuate to a local shelter, in that situation.
I expect this nittwittery on the part of the reporters to continue for the balance of the hurricane season, I may be going way out on a limb, on this one here.
Timothy Quote
II Timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

The Workman is worthy of his hire.

By Al James

09/15/04

1. Matthew 10:9-10 Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, 10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
2. Luke 10:7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
3. 1 Timothy 5:18 For the scripture sayeth, Thou shall not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And the laborer is worthy of his reward.
4. Deuteronomy 25:4 Thou shalt not muzzle the ox when he treadeth out the corn.
5. Malachi 3:5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me saith the Lord of hosts.
6. Refer also to 1 Corinthians 9:4-15
All scripture given is King James version unless otherwise noted.

In 1992 when I worked for a local limousine company here in Pinellas county, I had the opportunity to pick up one gentleman at the airport in Tampa, and take him to a local hotel, where I dropped him off. At 8:00 am. the next day I picked the man up and took him to a business
meeting, and several other stops along the way, one such stop, was at his parents house in St. Petersburg. Now mind you I'm driving one man around all day long approximately 10 hours total, in an eight passenger limousine at a rate of around $55.00 per hour, of course the bill was
put on the company expense account. Now this in itself is just a common everyday occurrence, and is in no way noteworthy, except for one stop we made in Clearwater Fl. at the Burger King restaurant on U.S. Highway 19, where the man called the manager of the local branch of the company
that they worked for, and told her that he was ready to be picked up. Now I thought to myself that's odd, why would he want to be picked up by another company employee to ride over to the plant in that employee's sedan, when he is riding in an eight passenger limousine driven by a well experienced driver, in fact I was a little miffed over
the situation. So upon his return I asked the gentleman why he chose to ride over there with the plant's manager instead of the limousine, his response was a little shocking to me. He said he did not want the employee's to see him riding around in a limousine, because they would want a raise in pay, saying if the company could afford to hire a limousine for a mid level manager of the company to ride around in all day, they could certainly afford to give us a raise in pay.

Then there is the story of my ex brother in-law, we'll call him Berry. Berry is a mechanic, who was trying to start his own business fixing cars. But then a friend of his recriuted him to be the supervisor of the mechanics department of a local car dealership, he did not really
want this new responsibility, because his own business was doing pretty well at the time. He was satisfied with his situation. But the dealership offered him a very large salary, I think it was $50,000 per year, so he was convinced to take the job. But it was not long before
the dealership upper management learned of Berry's good fortune, so they hired two new mechanics for Berry to train, I believe that Berry said these two, were recent immigrant's to this country. Well long story short Berry was, unbeknownst to himself at the time, training his own replacements. He was on unemployment after that for a long time.

The same thing happened at another company here in Pinellas county, a few years back, employees had to train the Mexican workers that would eventually would take their jobs away from them.

This country has plenty in our history to be ashamed of we certainly do not need any more.
Now, this is the attitude of all too many employers today. You say what is wrong with that? Well to start with, America used to be the place where an honest day's work got you an honest day's pay, but not in 2005 America. Subterfuge and chicanery to keep wages low rules the day now.
Secondly this violates Judaic/Christian principals, lets take a look at the bible. It is this, And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, I wish to focus on now. You don't need a P.H.D. to figure that one out. but let's analyze it just a bit, judgment (Strongs 4941) verdict, a sentence, formal decree, determination. I don't know about you brother, but if I had my druther's I'druther not have the Lord be a judge and a swift witness against me. Also there is Luke 10:7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
Why? well I can think of at least two reasons right off the top of my head #1 Hebrews 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Especially if he is mad at you, I should imagine. #2 Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but rather fear him which is able to destroy both body and soul in hell. As if these employers (we are talking big business here, smaller companies for the most part treat their employees better though they are certainly not exempt, at least that has been my experiences) Shenanigans were not enough, we now have the problem of outsourcing. But the president said that outsourcing was good for the country what is your problem with that. Well it is just not me that has a problem with it so does the governor of Michigan “I can say is that if you're going to compete for Michigan work, you should be here” Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, Michigan has lost 100,000 jobs to outsourcing. click

Well let's see if we can figure out just why Mr. Bush did say that outsourcing is good for the country. First of all before he was a politician, he was an executive of a major corporation, (again big business) so what do you think Mr. Bush had in mind? When he made that statement, big business America (his buddies, especially big oil) or middle class America (not his buddies) remember big business America his buddies, especially big oil, make huge campaign contributions to his reelection. So where do you think his loyalties lie? I choose the former not the latter, I am sure you do too. Simply put it is unfair international trade

and costs American workers their jobs, as a limousine driver I depend on Americans having jobs, and good paying jobs too, not just the minimum wage service sector jobs the current administration is bragging about creating the past several years. If they don't have a job they don't hire the limousine. By the way Macdonald's employees also do not hire the limousine either, even though they do have a job. They also don't buy fifty inch televisions, they pay the rent, buy some groceries, and maybe buy a 1/2 gallon of gas for their car, that's about it. In a couple of years we'll all be flipping hamburgers, or delivering pizza's to one another, if this alarming trend continues, and it certainly will continue with Mr. Bush's attitude. A friend of mine knows a gentleman that used to be a computer tech. that made $60,000 per year he now drives a van and makes $8.00 per hour I don't think Mr. Bush's out sourcing policies wash too well with him.
Offshore outsourcing maybe popular among big American business in 2005, but then slavery was also popular in 1858. I say lets outsource our government, there is a constitutional prohibition from foreign born persons being president, but congress enjoys no such protections. And after all they are certainly complicit in this reprehensible and disgusting attack being permitted, yeah being perpetrated by congress on the American Middle class. Those that support outsourcing usually say that it creates jobs in other areas of our economy, but I say to them prove it, of course they never do. Bottom line is 12,000 to 15,000 American middle class jobs per month are being lost to places like India, and the Philippines click

The American worker makes on average $12.00 per hour, The Indian worker makes on average $2.00 per hour. I defy anyone to prove how this is good for the American middleclass.

And where does all of this cheap exploitable labor lead to, well just look at the riots going on in France today and you have your answer. The businesses in Paris are shut down and are not making a dime well actually in France it is a Euro, well whatever you can bet your bottom dollar or yen the great men of the earth are crying their eyes out over lost profits that can never be recovered. This is an excellent warning to America to start treating your workers better and paying them a decent living wage otherwise the same things loom on the horizon for you here in this country, While we here do not advocate violence in anywise we also can see the proverbial writing on the wall, not to mention the internet.

And you can also bet these things were prophesied in the Holy Writ thousands of years ago,
Revelation 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee, and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the
GREAT MEN OF THE EARTH; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived
Also Revelation 6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, a measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barly for a penny…
Now the above scripture means this. A penny when this was written was the average daily pay for unskilled workers, so what it say’s is this, workers in the last day’s, as this is an end times prophecy will work all day and receive as their pay, only enough money to buy a couple of loaves of bread. This can play out two or three different ways, one hyperinflation as we seen in the 1970’s under the Jimmy Carter administration. Two or extremely low wages to workers, we see today with all the cheap labor being imported into the United States, by your congress and outsourcing American jobs to third world countries. Three or more likely, a combination of the two. So you had better learn how to live on the cheap now. See my article "How to Live Dirt cheap".
