SPIRITUAL WRITINGS 1
![]() ![]() (A Vision of Heaven) One day I dreamt I flew away to a far and distant land I knew my spirit was being led by God’s unchanging hand I knew this must be heaven for the scenery was so grand I was so happy as I clung so tightly to my Fathers hand I saw flowers so beautiful growing in this pleasant land I reached down to touch them as the dew of heaven rested on my hand 1. A dew as sweet as honey and pure as could be Rained down from Gods flowers a refreshing on me As far as I could see there was beauty everywhere The mountains were so beautiful and the snow-caps were there below flowed a river so holy, and pure, I could no longer question for I knew that I was there I asked my Father could I stay here awhile and wade in this water as the dew of heaven, fell softly on my hair I am so tired and from this place I never want to go He said no my daughter back to earth you must go How my heart was saddened as we walked on in His glow You must go back to let others know you see They will be lost forever if they never believe in me You have the keys to the kingdom I have placed them in your hand Go and preach my Gospel to my children in the land I’m not asking you to do something impossible can’t you see It begins with one and then another as you teach them to put their trust in me I’ll speak of Calvary’s power through your voice filled with praise. How from death and the grave I was raised. As you tell the story how I died to set men free it will come forth in grace and glory, and power man will marvel at how this can be Of how God raised up a precious housewife without fame or glory A pure and simple tool to tell His Gospel story All of those who come to listen and all who come to see Will meet the Christ of Glory and I will set them free O’ my Jesus I really don’t want to go back,to a world of pain and cold. I would much rather walk with You on these streets of gold Yet I know I must Lord for the Gospel story must be told Do not worry daughter I will pour out My Spirit upon your weary soul and fill your heart with joy I will heal your body and I will make you whole There are those far away the Gospel they need to hear And all of those around you so my child do not fear I don’t want to let you go love I too want you to stay The time is quickly growing short the night is almost here So you must get busy and the faces of man not fear I must anoint you now and kiss you goodbye As you stand here trembling with teardrops in your eyes I know that I can trust you to do the best you can Do not be afraid in the name of Jesus every battle you will win Even though at times you will be tested and tried In each and every battle the victory we will win Now I must let you go so you can do My work As I wave goodbye to you I can feel how much your heart will hurt I will not leave you defenseless I will never leave you alone For My Holy Spirit will come to you, and make your heart His home So now my loved one the time is growing near Come and let me brush away each and every tear As I hold you in my arms and tell you goodbye I can hear your spirit softly sigh I will bring you quickly home when your work on earth is through My Jesus it makes me sad to say goodbye for now I know I will walk here again and at your feet I will bow In that final day when I come back home to You I will be so happy because I know once again I will walk heavens shores with You Soft Petals Of Poetry by Ruthie, 1994 To 2000 © rep ![]() I had a dream one night about this, very place I described in the poem. I don’t know if I was dreaming or if I actually died? It was at a time when my Father was dying with leukemia. When I awoke my eyes felt so clean I could not seem to erase this dream from my mind. My father was dying and I wanted to write it down to send to him. He needed someone to encourage him in his final hours. I went to buy a card for him to send with my letter. I know it sounds strange but I found a card with almost the same theme, the picture was so like the dream I had. Beautiful snow capped mountain clear clean streams of water, the flowers, and trees beyond description. The clean crisp air. I always thought if I ever dreamt of heaven I would see a city with street of gold. Like we learned about in Sunday school and Church. I don’t know why I dreamt heaven was like that? It was very scenic, and outdoors so beautiful and refreshing and Jesus the Savior was there. I know our God is a miracle working God and He still speaks to His children through dreams and visions. If you don’t believe that’s ok. I never used to believe either. There are so many miracles going on, around us every day. Things that we humans cannot explain! When God visits me with a dream, or vision, I can’t erase them from my mind. He usually follows it with a prophecy. I know it is a prophetic message in regards to what I am about to face.A word of encouragement to keep me carrying on in my faith walk with the Lord. Possibly a word of direction to help me stay on the right path. There are many reasons God still speaks to us through visions and dreams. When I have a dream or a vision I cannot forget them until I write them down. Even then they are still there as if they are painted on my heart. When God speaks to me like that I know He is trying to show me something. I ask God to open my spiritual eyes, and ears, and ask Him Dear Lord what are You trying to show me? Every time He make it clear to me,what it is He wants me to know. Our God is a wonderful miracle working God and His ways are past finding out. This dream was for me to comfort my Father who was dying with leukemia. And tell him the gospel story not long after that he passed away. My prayer was that my Dad might have reached out to Jesus in his final hour and believe that God truly loved him. As it is written in John 3:16 In Honor of My Father John Julius Vinson March 21,1917 to May 30,1994 Go rest High on that mountain Daddy. Meet me at the foot of the mountain, where Gods healing waters flow. ![]() Today I Remembered Father today was a very hard day for me. I felt weak in my body, but then (I remembered) You were my strength. At times my heart wanted to faint in me, because of all the things going on around me. Yet (I remembered) that You, were my strength and my endurance. Today at times it was as if the ground was shaking under me. But then (I remembered) You Jesus my big brother. (I remembered) You were my Rock, and my Stability. A few times today Father my eyes filled with tears, and my lips began to quiver. I had wondered has my Jesus forgotten me? But then (I remembered) You said; my name was tattooed on your hands. and that I was continually on your mind, and in your thoughts. I wept Father it was so good to remember. Then my heart took strength as; I thought on the days of old, and how Your many comforts surrounded me. I remembered how Your mercies fell down, like sweet rain on my brow.(I wept it was so good to remember.) Your daily Grace, and mercies, that are new every morning. How they outnumber the grains of the sands on the seashore. I love to think upon you my God it is good to remember. For a small moment a little dark cloud of gloom, wanted to cover my head. For a small moment I felt overwhelmed by sorrow! Then (I remembered) Your many blessings, and promises in Your word to us. Those Beautiful Words, that are in the Holy Bible. I wept it was good (to remember.) I was reminded today of You’re sacrificial offering, upon the cross of Calvary. (I remembered the road to Calvary) you walked up for me and all, who will receive You and believe. (I wept when I remembered) and my heart took wings. As I stood on the path you have set before, I was covered by the shadow of the cross. Protected from the blasting heat of the evil one. (I remembered and wept) because (I remembered) how far You have brought me down, this narrow way. (I remembered the day) I entered the straight gate, You placed before me. I wept with joy when (I remembered) Then in my short-lived despair, my Father God, I caught a Glimpse of a soul made beautiful. Dressed in white garments, washed in the blood of the Lamb. (I remembered) and wept tears of joy! (Today I remembered) how you clothed me, with Your Grace, and Mercy! (I remembered) and praised and worshipped you. How pleasant, and beautiful was your presence. It is a blessing and so lovely to (remember You)! I fell on my knees and (I remembered) how much I loved You, and how much You loved me. (Today I remembered!) (Soft Petals Of Poetry by Ruthie, 2003, ®© ![]() DO YOU HEAR THE CHILDREN CRYING (Matthew 18:1-7) At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me. But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! God do you hear the children crying? Do you hear the children crying as they are crying in the night? Do you hear them Jesus as they suffer in their fright? Seems I hear their voices calling to me in the night. Oh my spirit is suffering as they journey in their plight. You call out to them do not be afraid. I would like to know, when there will be an end, to this charade? O my sweet Jesus as I lay here in the dark, I can hear the children cry. You tell me quick my child rise up, get on your knees and pray. I hear you crying little ones, as your tears flow from your eyes. Angels hold you in their arms of peace, and sing you lulabye's You who dare to touch God's apple of His eye. You will meet your end in the great bye and bye. You are so very evil as you pick on someone so small. I hear their small voices as for mercy they call. As I begin to cry and pray teardrops flood my soul. God is not deaf! He hears your cries. someday he will answer all our whys. I feel angels flutter near I see them stroke your brow. Then they calm your little spirit and you survive somehow. I know how you feel and how afraid you are too. I have suffered just like you when I was little too. So if you hear the children crying in our land. Why don’t you reach out through prayer, and give them a helping hand. O God my God, do you hear the children crying in the land. Do you hear us crying Lord Oh hurry please do? Yes my daughter I hear them I truly do. All of you who are stronger why do you prey on the weak? God have mercy on your soul as you sink. For it is written in Gods Holy Word it would be better to have a millstone tied around your neck and cast into the brink. Than to hurt or offend any of these little ones so you better stop and think. You are evil and angry when you steal our children in the land and rob their innocence and murder them too. Bring back the children to the home they once knew for in the night I hear their mamas and papas crying too. Mothers and Fathers I also talk to you stop your abuse on your children too. I am here to tell you and I know you know its true there is someone watching you. He is taking account of every cruel deed to your children you do. Their angels do ever go before His throne to give account of your children which you say you own. They are only lent to you for such a short time and God is keeping track line upon line. You may think you own them and can do whatever you can. But I am here to tell you their blood will be required at your hand. You need to love them and honor them too this is the reason why. They are precious to God and should be to you. Oh may God help your souls if this you do not do. You better love your children and hold onto them tight. You need to comfort them when they cry out in the night. You need to make them feel safe in their homes. You need to never leave them afraid and alone. This one thing I tell you I know you know its true. They will one-day rise up to accuse you. Fathers honor your daughters keep them free and pure. Never beat or violate your sons ever to your children be true. Our children are our future our lives they hold in their hands. Just remember when you abuse your children, or violate their lives. They will one day be the very ones who will be facing you in your weakness. Those who torment and torture, and eventually murder the children and young people they have stolen. The Parents that abuse their children Father, I ask You to bring deep conviction to their hearts and souls. If they refuse to listen deliver the children out of their hands, and let them be put where they are safe. Those who are suffering at the hands of humanity. Send your angels to minister to the heirs of salvation. Stop the hands that strike the innocent, and bring pain, and affliction, reach out to your little ones crying in the land. Send someone to help them, and deliver them out of their abuse, and torment Precious Father God I call upon you. My heart is broken for the helpless many tears flood my soul. Let your mercies flow down from heaven. Your compassion’s fail not they are new every morning. Lord keep your children in the center of your will, and as the apple of your eye. Because of those who carelessly cast you aside. From you their faces they did hide. Little broken dolly I see you shedding those tears. The one who gave His life for you on Calvary's tree. Come cast all your burdens on me. You will see I am the one who will never leave. I will give you beauty for ashes, joy for your sorrow. Always be there today and for all your tomorrows. It was an awesome sight, as far as I could see, the ground was covered with snow. The Great Creator walked over and, picked up the little dove from the snow. He placed the dove in one hand, and covered her with the other. Almighty God spoke tenderly to the little dove. He held her close to His beating heart. Then the little dove began to flutter in the hand of the Eternal Father. Then God spoke to the little dove, “it is time for you to fly again”. The little dove was fearful she, did not want to leave the secret comforting, place in God. “He said my name Ruth”! Ruth He said; " you can fly again far above the storm". Just as the great eagle fly's so can you. You can fly to the mountains of God, and your soul shall find rest. You shall encourage and teach others, to fly again with their God. (Arise and put on the full armor of God ) (A Prophecy) My dearly beloved children arise and put on the full armor of God, for these are dangerous times, and the last days that you are living in. There is danger all around you. This is a day that going into a house of God built by man will not protect you. You must arise and fight; the battle before you, and you must be aquainted with me, and then if and when you call upon my name you will do much harm to the enemy. I am the true weapon of your war fare. I have gathered together all the dust in the universe and created this world you live in. Is there anything to hard for me, is there any enemy in your life that I can not handle? I tell you that you are in the center of my vision in the very apple of my eye. To those who are watching for me, I shall appear in the clouds of the sky and they shall rise up and meet me there. What a glorious day that will be when we all sit down together and partake of the marriage Supper of the Lamb. Yet for this time you must walk circumspectly not as fool but as my wise servants. There are the scorpions underfoot, and the demons are nipping at your ankles. Be not afraid I have promised you, that they will not be able to harm you. Do not allow people to detour you from the work I have given you to do for me. Never take your eyes off of me keep your ears in tuned to the voice of the Holy Spirit. There are many voices in the world but drown them out by listening to my voice. I must encrease in my Church, and in my people, in my body! Yet my body is filled with luke warm christians they do not look at the signs of time, to take heed to my soon coming! They are judgemental thinking they are fine and judging my true Chrisitans who are forsaking all to follow me. I have warriors in my great army those who are not afraid to fight the enemy and stand up for the new born babes in my body. Those who have counted all things dung for the cause of Christ! Having forsaken the ways of the world, and do not heed the voices of man. Going to Church does not make anyone a christian in my eyes. Belonging to the true Church of Jesus Christ makes one a disciple, and humble servant of mine. Listen not to the voice of man for they have watered down the Word of God. They have deluded My people into following thier ways, building thier own kingdoms, and prospering in thier own ministries. Having not a care about the condition of this world or the people who are lost and dying without Christ in there lives. Where are and who are the true servants of God today? It is really hard to tell is it not my servant? You must walk in true humility before your God not prospering your own ways. You must humble your selves and pray, then will I hear from heaven and heal the Schisim in my Church. Listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit crying out in these last days. Deny your selves of all your worldly pleasures, and lift your cross and follow me. It is true my children there are many false Christs who have gone out to my people and lifted themselves up to be something they are not. Many false prophets who are selling thier prophecies for filthy lucre. I tell you they have there reward! Turn back turn back my children and buy from me eye salve for your eyes, that have been blinded by bling of this present world. Buy the pure gold of GOD that will truly make you rich, and it will be where your treasures are in heaven with me. ~End~ ![]() Lord my Lord; my heart is open to hear your words My Lord; teach me to be humble, but also to be strong and have a backbone not to step down from the cause of Christ. (NKJV) (Hebrews 11: 1-29) By Faith Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead. By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death; he could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. By faith Abraham, even though he was past age—and Sarah herself was barren—was enabled to become a father because heconsidered him faithful who had made the promise. And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore. All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them. By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had received the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, even though God had said to him, "It is through Isaac that your offspringwill be reckoned." Abraham reasoned that God could raise the dead, and figuratively speaking, he did receive Isaac back from death. By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau in regard to their future. By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of Joseph's sons, and worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff. By faith Joseph, when his end was near, spoke about the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and gave instructions about his bones. By faith Moses' parents hid him for three months after he was born, because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king's edict. By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh's daughter. He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time. He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king's anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible. By faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel. By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned. By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the people had marched around them for seven days. By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient. And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel and the prophets, who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. Women received back their dead, raised to life again. Others were tortured and refused to be released, so that they might gain a better resurrection. Some faced jeers and flogging, while still others were chained and put in prison. They were stoned; they were sawed in two; they were put to death by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated— the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, and in caves and holes in the ground. These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised. God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.
