BENEFIT RIDE FOR THE ARKANSAS BAPTIST CHILDREN'S HOMES
The CRUISADORS chapter of the Arkansas Baptist Bikers Association had the honor of sponsoring the benefit ride for the Arkansas Baptist Children’s Homes during the 2008 ABBA Spring River Motorcycle Rally held May 9-10 in Hardy, AR. We raised $350.00 for the ABHC with a 57 mile ride from Hardy, to Poughkeepsie, to Evening Shade, and back to Hardy through Ash Flat. The weather did not seem to be in our favor, but we still had a great ride and a great time. A big thank you goes to the twenty three riders who participated in the ride. Participants were given an ABHC lapel pin at registration, and upon completion of the ride, received a free meal at the rally. We have a few things coming up later this August including the White River Water Carnival and the Cave City Watermelon festival. We are looking forward the great works God will do at these events as He did at the Hardy Rally which included the salvation of the son of our chapter President, Houston Butler. |
