GET YOUR HEALING!
Ah Faith...That seemingly elusive quality that we all read in scriptures that we have need of and yet seem unable to grasp.
Faith
What IS IT & how do we get it to work in our lives?
Those are great questions don't you think?
Here's one more....Did you know that we also have enemies of our faith?
This of course is not a full study of faith!
It is just a sampling! Something to whet your appetite to know and understand more of what God is wanting to tell us individually about what faith means to HIM-
And isn't THAT THE most important thing?
What God thinks about it?
"without faith", God says, "it's IMPOSSIBLE to PLEASE Him"! (Heb.11:6)
I want to please God more than anything this world has to offer!
God has ensured that examples of walking and believing in faith were given us.....
Read the four Gospel's!!
"Who touched me?" Jesus asked.
Then the woman fell at His feet.
.....Then He said to her,
"Daughter, your faith has healed you......"
Luke 8:45, 48
There is also the "Hebrew's Hall of Faith" Listed in Hebrews Chapter 11.
The description; the definition of what it is, is also listed there:
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." (vs.1)
Make sure your HOPE is "up" and in the Lord and His word! Else you will have nothing for your faith to be the substance OF!
Check out what your HOPES are (not "wishing" but Bible hope is "earnest expectation"!)
Faith is NOT denial!
Someone operating, say, in the "faith" that their children will never get sick and they become sick, does nothing, denying it! NO! They can believe for them, pray for them and even come against the robbing of their children's health but by all means, get them to the Doctor if you are able!
I remember my daughter cramping up so bad she could not stand! She laid on the floor in pain crying out to me. I prayed for her, came against that enemy of our souls, all the while I put something on her feet and a coat and gathered her up into my arms and drove her to the Emergency ward, thanking God the whole way there. By the time she was up on the gurney being checked by the Doctor, she had no symptoms! Glory to God. They checked her out anyway.
We drove home and she felt so foolish for "having caused you to drive out to the hospital". I quickly assured her, I knew she was NOT "faking it" but I also knew God's word was true! And God's word can pass any test!!

There ARE some reasons WHY faith may not appear to work though.
Jesus said, If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to a mountain to be removed and it shall be removed. (Matt.17:20)
Even with such tiny faith, great things can be accomplished. Why then are we not seeing more great things?
It is not, as some believe, that they have no faith as The Bible tells us that every man is given by God, THE same measure of faith (Romans 12:3) or, as we have read above, that their faith is so small.
In Mark 9:24, a man says to Jesus, "Lord, I believe, help Thou mine unbelief". What does he mean by "help"? Would it be appropriate to say that we could interpret this scriptures to say, "Lord, I believe. Please forgive my unbelief"? I believe so. And as any child of God knows, "when we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9) Our sins are removed and cast into the sea of forgetfulness as if we had not sinned (So great is the Power of His Blood). (Heb.8:12; 10:17)
What happens then, after our confessions of all doubt, unbelief, worry and fear,
is........PURE Faith!!
Those sins of worry doubt, unbelief and fear are like a casing that a seed has...it causes our faith to be ineffectual. With the sins removed, we are left with pure faith...
Jesus said in Mark 5:36 and Luke 8:50..."Only believe" or in other words....Believe ONLY...have no fear, doubt, unbelief or worry about the issue...Operate in faith ONLY! No matter the SIZE of your faith, Jesus said it would work FOR you!
Whoooo Hooo!! My faith is in God, His word and His willingness to help me walk this life of faith He has given me.
I pray it is now yours also!!

DAILY PRESCRIPTION
Sent to YOU and PAID for IN FULL by THE Great Physician,
Dr. Jesus.
(Please take as often as necessary until relief and healing is manifest!)
*Mark 5:36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.
*Luke 8:50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
Repent of ALL doubt, unbelief, worry, fear, unforgiveness...every sin that would encase your faith...
*1 John 1:9 If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].
Now you are left with PURE faith, just as Jesus said!
*Galatians 3:13 Christ purchased our freedom [redeeming us] from the curse (doom) of the Law [and its condemnation] by [Himself] becoming a curse for us, for it is written [in the Scriptures], Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (is crucified)
*Deut. 27-28 (all of the curse...so you know what is included & what you are redeemed FROM!) and especially
*Deut. 28:61!! Also every sickness and every affliction which is not written in this Book of the Law the Lord will bring upon you until you are destroyed.
Now that you know YOU have been redeemed from the curse, you will need HEALING from all the damage the curse has caused
*Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
*1 Peter 2:24 He personally bore our sins in His [own] body on the tree [as on an altar and offered Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness. By His wounds you have been healed.
