Pastor Tim has a beautiful family and has been married to his wife Leslie for ten years. Leslie also is a licensed minister for the New Life Church. The Lord has truly blessed Tim & Leslie in their home and church life.
Pastor Tim has started numerous oureach programs including Project New Start. Project New Start is based upon the teaching of Jesus Christ as outlined in Matthew 25: "For I was hungred, and ye gave me meat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in; naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me." Project New Start operates three transitional recovery home, two for men and one for women, for poeple who want to make a lifestle change and break their bonds of addicition. In addition, Project New Start offers two assisted living homes, one for men & one for women for programs graduates to have a clean and sober environment to live and grow in. Other outreach programs include a weekly food bank, a jail ministry, a nursing home ministry and will include in the very near future a children's home ministry for the abused, neglected and forgotten child.
After much prayer and fasting, Pastor Bumpous found himself at 1417 Dewey Avenue in Newport, Arkansas, where a church was for sale. God made a way for him to purchase this church and God is changing lives in Newport, Arkansas. This building now is the New Life Church where the congregation is growing in number and growing in the Spirit. Our pastor has a true anointing over him, our pastor is a man who truly cares for everyone, our pastor is a man who wants everyone to come and know the love of Jesus Christ in their lives.
Kai and his wife Tonya have been married for 13 years and have two wonderful children, Elijah and Caleb. The Lord has truly blessed our assistant pastor with a loving, caring Christian family.

| Assistant Pastor Kai Haley Kai Haley has recently become the assistant pastor of the New Life Church. Kai first gave his life to the Lord when he was a teenager but didn't fully surrender his life to the Lord until 14 years ago. Before Before Kai became the assistant pastor of New life Church, he served the Lord as a youth pastor and senior pastor at another church. Kai has been a licensed minister since 1994 and has been recently relicensed for the New Life church. Kai is an army veteran and has almost finished the hours necessary for his Master's Degree in Theology. In addition, Kai is our worship team leader. The Lord has also blessed him with a wonderful voice, an ability to play guitar and a songwriting talent. The New Life Church is so wonderfully blessed to have an anointed man of God like Kai as our assistant pastor. |
