This is not a prayer request but I am merely offering these orig. verse-prayers in hope some might be of use in adancing your ministry. Dommage...je ne parle pas la Francaise :>{ Final List During the past two years I have sent copies of my original praise and prayer verses to various churches in the United States and some overseas. I've received several requests from recipients to keep them in mind should I compile another group. For several months now I saved new verses as they came to mind and believe that I have enough to comprise an acceptable group.May they merit your approval. If you like them and feel they can be of any use in advancing your ministry, feel free to use them.My only stipulation is that anyone wishing to use them not do it for commercial profit unless of course it is for a good cause. Again, if you like them and feel you know someone or some organization that mightfind them of use, please feel free to copy/paste or forward them along to member churches, sunday schools, affiliated organizations, or to individuals.In fact, I hope you do. It is reward enough to feel someone might be using them. A couple have appeared on some webb sites for which I am most grateful. I personally copy/paste these one by one. Over half will be returned undelivered because of an outdated or no-longer-existing email address. Passing them along will be appreciated. If you do I thank you. Add my name to any of the verses if you so desire, or if it is your practice. Feel free to omit if you desire as well. Either choice is fne. He said five thousand He would feed And six small loaves was all He'd need ...and He did In Nain He said a boy thought dead He would free from death to live instead. ...and he did A woman's body bent and sore He said He'd straighten and restore ...and He did He said that He would die, but then Within three days rise up again ...and He did! These miracles and many more He did in order to assure A doubting world forevermore That He is God. ...and that, too... He did! WHO? Who has risen? I'm sure you know Although it happened Long ago Some do forget The sacred act That made life eternal In truth, a fact? Think, while rejoicing On Easter day Of the painful price One had to pay But to rejoice is right And rejoice we should Without losing sight Of that cross of wood Easter tulips are fine With their colors bright But forget not the Lily So pure and so white As earth has its seasons To send forth blossoms new In His spiritual garden Souls are born again too. Reflect on the meaning The 'Who and why?' of the day When endless life's gift was given In such a true loving way He bore the world's sin And for us died in pain Let's not forget that Great loss As we rejoice in our gain EASTER... a day of gratitude. Why, Oh Why? I see and hear sad things each day Illness, hunger, deep dismay Depressed I gaze into the sky As I cry out, "Lord. Tell me why! One non-believer, Freud, once said There is no God. When you die, you're dead What God would cause an infant pain? Man's grief and wars? Blood spilled for gain? So many people think as he There's no God because there's misery A loving God wouldn't cause dispair Ignore an ill one's pleading prayer But such is life. Am I then a fool Believing God exists and I have a soul? Then I think... Who shaped the endless universe; Its galaxies, its worlds, this earth? What great and mighty mind in fact Devised rules to keep it all intact? Formed far off worlds of giant size Yet too distant for our mortal eyes But also made the tiny mite, And microbe llife beyond our sight Atoms having worlds within All basic to man's origin Yet conforming to a perfect plan Known alone to Him, though not to man The potter's greater than the pot* All nature follows God's strict laws A mighty network without flaws Except first man made lovingly And free of all mortality To live immune from pain and fear To have no need to spill a tear In a place of beauty, green and fresh Without labor, sadness or distress Eden was a paradise That evil entered in disquise And tempted man to disobey God's only rule to God's dismay thenceforth man had himself to blame For a mortal life of toil and pain To struggle with reality Now that he lost immunity But the sinner is still loved To pain and illness, hate and greed Man's subject throughout life indeed There'll often be hard times and woe For by spurning God, man made it so All natures laws must be obeyed By flesh and matter, by all things made Yet,we see His laws He'll break But rarely so, for the word's at stake And we look in awe when it is done Like the miracle of a dancing sun He will choose the time and pick the place To bestow on man His loving grace And prove that faith is not in vain That as a living God He'll always reign And the world spins on as it must do And man protests his whole life through Blaming God, he'll cry "Why is life so? Our cherished land, Those who speak words of envy at heart know you are grand May you remain grand forever Grand in your love of the right Grand for guarding the freedom You won at dawn's early light The God who made you unique Will give you strength to remain Above those blinded by anger Who speak your name in disdain Know that that which you stand for Most world countries applaud recognizing the honor You bring both to man and to God Who Knows? Why do countries want to fight? Is it because they think they're right? Or even when they know they're wrong Do they go to war just to prove they're strong? If people really longed for peace Wouldn't wars just fade away and cease? Even if they did, could we be sure Noone would start another war? Can it ever be? Will we ever see A world someday that's conflict free? Be patient. keep praying. It has been promised. A CHILD'S PRAYER Since You watch over children Just because they are so small Please don't forget the grownups Just because they'e big and tall. I think that grownups need You Just as much as I do,too Because I see them praying So it really must be true So when I ask You for a blessing Don't You think it would be swell As You're sending me a blessing You bless some grownup just as well A CHILD'S VERSE Prayer is real cool It's not like a letter I don't have to write it That sure makes it better I can just say a prayer And know it's on its way Going straight up to heaven Whether it's night or it's day Many times I've been told That when I say my prayer It takes no time to deliver Because in a wink it's there And Nothing can stop it Angels make sure that it will pass And though it wont cost a penny It's still considered first class Since stamps are not needed There's no stamp rate to raise So each night just at bedtime I send my free prayer of praise Thanking my Father in heaven For guarding me from above And for sending me blessings As His message of love. CHILD'S 'THANK YOU' VERSE Father God I know You're near I know that when I pray, You hear So Bless us all today I pray And never ever go away CHILD'S PRAYER TO GET WELL Lord I'm feeling kind of bad They say I'm ill. That makes me sad I'm sure I'll soon be quite O.K. Back with my friends to laugh and play I know because I'm in Your care And know You like to answer prayer Especially from kids like me Who really do have need of Thee I'm really tired of being sick Please make me well, Please make it quick.. WHEN When bells of age and fleeting life Summon me... summon me... Relieving me of mortal strife Will I be... Will I be... Worthy of the call? When silver tones sound in my soul Beckoning... beckening... And it is for me they sweetly toll Repeatedly... repeatedly... Will the sound my soul enthrall?
