New Life Church Worship Team
Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sancturary; praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts; praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet; praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance; praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise himm upon the loud cymbals; praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. - Psalm 150.
The Lord has blessed our church with a wonderful worship team. Kai Haley, who is also the assistant pastor, is our worship team leader. Kai used to be a rock and roller before he came to know the Lord. Kai has been playing music for 46 years. For 30 years, Kai played worldly music and for the past 16 years, he has played by the spirit. Now his music is for the glory of Jesus, not the devil. Kai plays the guitar and is one of the lead vocalists of our worship team.
Tonya Haley, Kai's wife is the keyboardist of our worship team. God has blessed her with an angelic voice and the wonderful ability to play the keyboards. It was 25 years ago that Tonya prayed and asked the Lord to be able to play the keyboards so she could honor and praise Him with music. And He truly answered her prayers.
Our worship team praises the Lord with traditional hymns and with contemporary songs. In addition, Kai & Tonya have written original praise and worship songs. The Lord has blessed them with so much ability in his name. We, at the New Life Church, are so blessed to have such an awesome praise and worship team.
