SOME THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
Man was originally created in the image of God; he sinned and thereby incurred physical and spiritual death.
When Adam sinned he lost the image of God, therefore no one has the image of God till they are born again.
Without exception all are sinners and have need of the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour, without whom they will spend eternity in hell and the lake of fire. Genesis 1:26, 2:7, 5:1-3; Romans 3:23, 5:12, 18-19; 1 Corinthians 15:22.
The Gospel of the Grace of God:
The gospel, which saves, is that the Lord Jesus Christ, who provided our substitutionary and vicarious atonement for sin through His shed blood, died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures;
and that whosoever admits their sinful, lost condition before God, and receives the Lord Jesus Christ with a heart belief, trusting Him alone as their personal Saviour by faith,
WITHOUT any good works, water baptism, or observance of commandments,
will be scripturally saved and "born again", and is forever eternally secure in this salvation. Isaiah 53; Matthew 11:28; John 3:5-8, 16-18, 36, 4:14, 5:24, 6:37, 10:28-29, 12:32; Acts 4:12; Romans 4:5-8, 5:9, 15-21, 6:23, 8:33-39, 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, 12-14, 17; Ephesians 2:8-9; Colossians 2:9-14; 1 Peter 1:3-5; 1 John 5:9-13; Revelation 22:17.
THE PLAN OF SALVATION:
What must I do to be saved?
Admit you are a sinner.
Romans 3:10--"As it is written, there is none righteous no not one."
Romans 3:23--"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."
Repent and turn to God.
Luke 13:5--"I tell you, Nay: but except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish."
Acts 17:30--"And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent."
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ that He died on the cross; and shed His blood to pay for your sin debt and that He was buried and rose again from the dead.
Romans 5:8--"But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Ephesians 1:7--"In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace;"
Romans 10:9--"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Ask the Lord Jesus Christ to be your Saviour.
Romans 10:13--"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Revelation 22:17--"And the Spirit and the Bride say, Come, And let him that heareth say, Come, And let him that is athirst Come, and whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely."
Pray this from the heart: Lord Jesus I am a sinner, but I believe that You died on the cross and shed Your blood to wash away my sins. I believe You were buried and rose again from the dead, I accept You into my heart as my personal Saviour, in Your name Lord Jesus, AMEN!!!
1 John 5:13--"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."
